Hello,

Newly wed 30-something, trying to conceive LO #1 for both hubby and myself! As I have a very common first name which took me a long time to love, I have been obsessed since I first knew I wanted to be a mom with finding an uncommon, yet not too unusual name. I am SO glad to have found Nameberry now that the possibility of having a child is closer to reality! I have a much harder time coming up with boys names that I love, and I am definitely a fan of the old-fashioned names that have come back in style. For girls my top choices right now are [name_f]Millicent[/name_f] ([name_f]Millie[/name_f]) [name_u]Jean[/name_u], [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] ([name_f]Annie[/name_f]) [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] ([name_f]Minnie[/name_f]) [name_u]June[/name_u]. For boys I like [name_m]Abner[/name_m] ([name_m]Abe[/name_m]) [name_m]Robert[/name_m], [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], and [name_m]Miles[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m]. I know I am getting into common territory with these, any thoughts are welcome! :slight_smile:

I too have loved names for a long time. I have a daughter [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and am expecting my second little girl [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] in [name_f]May[/name_f].

I love the names that you like, am especially pleased to see [name_m]Abner[/name_m] as a favorite of yours. Would love to meet a little [name_m]Abner[/name_m]. All of your choices are awesome to be perfectly honest.
