I was all set on calling my daughter [name_f]Candy[/name_f], but everyone this is it is wrong. So I have chosen To [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] but people tell me day names are confusing andshe arrived on a Friday.
I have some other names I mind, [name_u]Storm[/name_u], katrina, [name_f]April[/name_f] are names I have thought at

I like day-of-the-week names, and I don’t think it matters if it corresponds with the day a child was born, though it’s nice if that day has some meaning for you (like honoring someone else’s birthday). [name_f]Katrina[/name_f] and [name_f]April[/name_f] are fine names. I like the suggestions of [name_f]Holiday[/name_f] and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].
I strongly advise you to avoid naming your daughter [name_f]Candy[/name_f], [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] and [name_u]Storm[/name_u] and I recommend [name_f]Katrina[/name_f] and [name_f]April[/name_f].
Really sorry about my op, I must have still been high as I had just got back from a few days away and could not sleep when I posted:p tried to edit but it won’t save.

Thanks for all your suggestions
What is so wrong with [name_f]Candy[/name_f], [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] or [name_u]Storm[/name_u]?
I used to have friend called [name_f]Candy[/name_f] and fail to understand why people object to it.
Same with [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f],so it is a day name but so what? I understand people just not liking names but why avoid it.
[name_u]Storm[/name_u], I have not put to much thought into, I met a [name_u]Storm[/name_u] in a shop a few days ago, it appealed.
On the plane one of the stewardesses was called Tomato or something that sounded very similar maybe that would be a cool name.
One more suggestions which I have a feeling everyone would hate and that is [name_u]January[/name_u] - I also love the name [name_f]February[/name_f] but that seems to be hated more then [name_f]Candy[/name_f].
I think people hate [name_f]Candy[/name_f] because it is both juvenile and hyper sexualized. It’s a cliche name you expect to hear on a stripper or prostitute. If you didn’t have those issues, I can see how it could be a sweet nickname. [name_f]Candace[/name_f] is a great suggestion.
I think [name_u]January[/name_u] is very cute, and I’m not completely opposed to [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f]. Here are some nature/object type names you might like:
Personally, I would generally avoid naming my child after objects or days/months. These names don’t appeal to me at all, but mostly, I can just picture the eye roll every time someone pokes fun of her day of the week or month name.
[name_f]Candy[/name_f] is pretty, especially as a nn for [name_f]Candace[/name_f], but it does tend to be sexualized, unfortunately. And I’m not sure how I feel about [name_u]Storm[/name_u] as a name. I’m leaning towards not liking it. I can’t imagine it on any age or anybody but a superhero. I can however imagine her being embarrassed by it.
I do like [name_u]January[/name_u], definitely more than [name_f]Candy[/name_f] or [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f]. I think that [name_f]Candy[/name_f] as a nickname would work for [name_f]Candice[/name_f] or [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] or even [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f]. I also like the nickname [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] which comes nicely from [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u]
