Tulimir?

Looking for opinions on the name Tulimir. It (from what I can find) is Polish, and derives from “to hug/to cuddle/to soothe/” + “peace” which I think is really sweet! Nickname would be probably be [name_m]Miro[/name_m].
[name_f]My[/name_f] family is Polish, but I’m American – do you think an American boy could realistically wear this?
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like this, or prefer one of my other favorites, [name_m]Casimir[/name_m]?
I’m also not sure it goes well with my other names: [name_m]Caspian[/name_m], [name_m]Zigmund[/name_m], [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], [name_u]Ira[/name_u], [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_m]Wells[/name_m], [name_m]Laszlo[/name_m], [name_m]Fennec[/name_m], [name_u]Oleander[/name_u], [name_m]Ronan[/name_m], [name_u]Callum[/name_u] & [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f], [name_f]Callista[/name_f], [name_f]Maxine[/name_f], [name_f]Suvi[/name_f], [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], Winifred…

Thank you for any insight!

It sounds nice.
I also thought of Tuli as a cute nickname. [name_m]Even[/name_m] [name_m]Tull[/name_m] can work as a nickname that can grow.
I’m imagining siblings Tulimir, [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_m]Zigmund[/name_m] and [name_f]Callista[/name_f] (Tull, [name_u]Ziggy[/name_u], [name_m]Otto[/name_m] and Callie)

those siblings sound so cute together, thank you! I like the spelling of Tuli too

Tulimir is intriguing, rugged but gentle and sort of mystical. [name_f]My[/name_f] only concern would be that when I googled it briefly, it mostly suggested ‘Tolimir’, the surname of a war criminal convicted of genocide - I personally hadn’t heard of him until then, but maybe something to have on your radar, just in case

It’s lovely, I really like -mir ending names. I’m not in the US so I’m not in a position to comment on usability there. Is it too-limir or tu-limir with tul rhyming with gull?

I really like it! The meaning is so lovely. [name_m]Zigmund[/name_m] is standing out as pairing really well with it to me.

Are you sure it’s Polish?
I’ve never heard of it and there’s almost nothing about the name on Google, which is not what I would expect if it’s currently used name in Poland. I’d suggest checking with somebody who is knowledgeable about Polish culture and language if the origin/meaning matters greatly to you.

I don’t think Tulimir is Polish. The only prominent reference I can find is a Serbian politician named [name_u]Nikola[/name_u] Tulimirović, and etymologically speaking it doesn’t make sense for a Polish male name to have a meaning related to cuddling. I almost wonder if it’s an Arabic or Turkish name imported into Eastern Europe.
