Tuppenny

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!

The other day I found the name Tuppenny and I think it’s sweet, charming and vintage.
What do you think?

Tuppenny is sweet and rather charming. I don’t know if it’s “vintage,” though; does it have a history of use? It looks like the word tuppenny, “twopenny,” used as a name, like Tuppence, which I’ve also seen as a name once or twice, at least in books.

Because it’s a word name literally meaning “two pennies,” which isn’t very much, I don’t know as I’d be thrilled to see it used as a first name. It could be lovely in the middle, paired with the perfect first name.

As it means two pennies I’m not fond of it as a name

Considering we still use the coin, probably not the best idea! Lol.

Really not a good idea, especially as tuppence is slang for your lady bits over here!

Yeah, I agree with C&P! And the other ladies. Bad bad idea…

The sound is very sweet, and I actually like it. Maybe it is safer in the middle?

Good sibset with Onepenny, Threepenny, and Fourpenny. Otherwise, no.

Um I don’t think that’s a good idea. I just think of two pennies

my thoughts exactly .

This is a great reason to not use it!

LMAO @ larkub!!
