What are some names that you like but are part of a cast and the association might me too big?

And those are the ones that came to my mind

I think of the ones you mentioned, [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_f]Cornelia[/name_f] is usable (I think [name_u]Blair[/name_u] alone isn’t tied too strongly to GG, the combo might draw an eyebrow from folks who know it). [name_f]Cinderella[/name_f] feels like a real guilty pleasure because she’s one of the first fairytales people learn and her name is also the title of the story, unlike [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/Belle/Aurora/etc. [name_f]Moana[/name_f]’s in a middle spot - you’ll definitely get people thinking of Disney but it still feels like a real life human could wear it.

Of all of these, only [name_m]Ferris[/name_m], [name_f]Maeby[/name_f], [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] and Endeavour are ones I’d view as useable, and even then I’m on the fence

Sansa and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] for girls cuz ya know, GoT and friends, and [name_m]Asriel[/name_m] for boys bc of His Dark Materials (the show and the books)

The Disney names are very much disney lol so I think they would get a lot of comments though. [name_m]Even[/name_m] if you are not particularly a Disney fan, the likelihood of people knowing who [name_f]Cinderella[/name_f] is, is pretty high.
I’ve not seen Gossip Girl and I don’t think that show was too popular/well-known in the UK. I like [name_u]Blair[/name_u]. If anything I think of an ex prime minister of the UK. [name_u]Tony[/name_u] [name_u]Blair[/name_u].
Names I like which can be associated with characters in shows are
[name_m]Fraser[/name_m]. There is the American show called Fraiser I think? But it’s quite a traditional Scottish name with a cute meaning.
Ozma- I was obsessed with the film Return to [name_m]Oz[/name_m] when I was little and the [name_f]Princess[/name_f] of [name_f]Emerald[/name_f] City is [name_f]Princess[/name_f] [name_f]Ozma[/name_f]. I don’t think this is that useable because it’s close to Osma… Yeah that guy ( sorry don’t know how to blur font on here)
Ivar- I love this name but when I suggested it they said it’s way too Viking. ([name_m]Ivar[/name_m] the boneless) so history and TV show, The Vikings.
Tabitha this is more a generational thing. I think anyone growing up in the 60s associates the name with that show Bewitched? But I’ll be using it regardless.
