Your list is fantastic, and I hope some of this advice helps. I’m going to try to stick to the names on your list, as I don’t want to overwhelm you with any more if you’re trying to trim.
[name_u]Love[/name_u]:
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f]: Classic, unexpected nowadays, and beautiful.
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]: One of the sweetest names out there.
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]: Evocative, vintage, and timeless.
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f]: Sweet and gentle, but lots of great namesakes and history.
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]: Such great sounds, a bit of quirk, and a lot of style.
[name_f]Vera[/name_f]: One of the most substantial, beautiful names out there.
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f]: A modern favorite, and for good reason: It’s sweet, intriguing, and beautiful.
[name_f]Maren[/name_f]/[name_f]Mary[/name_f]: Both of these strong, feminine names are criminally underused today.
[name_f]Helen[/name_f]/[name_f]Helena[/name_f]: [name_u]Bright[/name_u], classic, stylish, and flowy. Two of my favorite ever names.
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]: I’m so glad this is on the rise. I love the mythological connection, and the name sound and feels ethereal.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]: Another elegant yet playful vintage name I’m glad to see being revived.
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]: The perfect blend of sweetness and substance.
[name_f]Agnes[/name_f]: This name has so much gravity and history, I think people sometimes forget its great sound.
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]/[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]: These two vintage picks are quirky and bright but also substantial.
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]: Literary, beautiful, and sweet.
[name_f]Edith[/name_f] : Underrated classic with lots of potential that suits many styles.
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]/[name_u]Vivian[/name_u]: I particularly like the former spelling, but both of these names are light, joyful, and vibrant.
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/[name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]: So elegant and regal.
[name_f]Estelle[/name_f]: I think this gentle, understated name flies under the radar of a lot of people, but it caught my attention immediately. A great alternative to the ultra-popular [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f].
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]: This name evokes many of my favorite memories, as my childhood best friend had this name. Regardless of the association, it is feminine, classic, and timeless.
Like:
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]: Quite popular, but I do love that it is an honor name.
[name_f]Winifred[/name_f]: I like [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] quite a bit for its quirk and gentleness, but not quite as much as I love other vintage names.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]: Beautiful and lush, but the ending sound is a bit harsh to me and it is quite popular.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]: Classic, solid, and lovely, but a bit plain as compared to some of your other choices.
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]: I like the quirk and spunk, but the style and flow aren’t completely my cup of tea.
[name_f]Esther[/name_f]: I really do like this one, but the first syllable is quite harsh.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]: Such a beauty, but so very popular.
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f]: See [name_f]Alice[/name_f].
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]: [name_u]Love[/name_u] the quirk and the singsong nature, but I’m not so sure about how the whole thing sounds together.
[name_f]Anouk[/name_f]: I used to dislike this name, but its gentleness and uniqueness have grown on me.
[name_f]Athena[/name_f]: I’m all about mythology names, but this one seems a little trendy. I tend to prefer [name_u]Artemis[/name_u].
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f]/[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]: [name_f]Regal[/name_f] classics, but I’ve met so many that they’ve lost a bit of their luster.
[name_f]Elena[/name_f]: [name_u]Bright[/name_u], cheery, and classic, I just don’t love it as much as [name_f]Helen[/name_f] or [name_f]Helena[/name_f].
[name_f]Sybil[/name_f]: An out-there vintage choice that I oddly like, but I’m not sure if it’s quite ready for a revival as it is a bit harsh.
Neutral:
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]: This name has never been my personal cup of tea, and I much prefer [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], but it is still bright and spunky.
[name_f]Harriet[/name_f]/[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]/[name_f]Henrietta[/name_f]: Quirky, cool vintage choices, I’m just not in love with the sound of any of them.
[name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]: This has grown on me quite a bit, although [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] are still my favorite “[name_f]El[/name_f]-” names.
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]: Have never been huge on this one for some reason, but I really do like its quirk.
[name_f]Isabella[/name_f]: See [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
[name_f]Leonora[/name_f]/[name_f]Lenore[/name_f]: I like the literary connection with [name_f]Lenore[/name_f], but [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] sound more complete and refined to me.
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f]: A nice sound, but too trendy for my taste.
Would Drop:
[name_f]Ailsa[/name_f]: I don’t particularly like the first sound of “Ail,” and think that [name_f]Alisa[/name_f] is a flowier option.
[name_f]Betsey[/name_f]: This name is quite bright, but I find it too cutesy and not particularly substantial.
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f]: I think this name is nice, but I like the flow and sound of [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] much better.
[name_f]Eudora[/name_f]/[name_f]Golda[/name_f]: These twos seem quite dated to me, and I’m not a fan of the flow or sound.
[name_f]Hadassah[/name_f]: This name is a bit of a tongue-twister, and I’m not too keen on its sound.
[name_f]Mathilda[/name_f]: I think [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is a more tailored, pronounceable option.
[name_f]Pippa[/name_f]: A bit cutesy.
[name_f]Selah[/name_f]: A fine name, just has never been my cup of tea. It’s also a bit spare and plain in comparison to your other choices.
[name_f]Shoshanna[/name_f]: I think [name_f]Savannah[/name_f] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] are options with a better vibe. I’m not sure about the sound here, and I find it a bit dated.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helped!
