I was at the water park today, and I heard very intersting names and sibsets. What do you think?
There was about a one year old named [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]. He was adorable. (:
And a sibset named [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] (born December 14th, 2005 - TWO months after Twilight came out) and [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] (born November 9th, 2007).
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think that sibset was inspired by Twilight? They go by [name_m]Jake[/name_m] and [name_f]Bella[/name_f]

I absolutely love [name_m]Arthur[/name_m]! I think it’s such a handsome name for a boy. I suppose it’s entirely plausible (and quite likely) [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] and [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] were named after Twilight, but both names are so popular anyway. Maybe their parents just liked [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], and forgot about Twilight (or didn’t read/watch it) a few years later. Or it just doesn’t bother them, although it would really bug me personally.
If they were inspired, then they must have been obsessed with Twilight. But naming the daughter [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] may have been a coincidence.
Could be, but both are common on their own so could also not be. You know what could be a cool name though… If there wasn’t such a popular franchise… Twilight 
Frankly, I’m so done with the whole “Twilight names” phenomenon. [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] and [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]/[name_f]Bella[/name_f] were on the upswing far before [name_f]Stephanie[/name_f] [name_m]Meyer[/name_m]'s dreadful books. They were both ridiculously popular before the books and are ridiculously popular now. Has Twilight influenced naming trends? No; Meyers just gave her characters already-trendy names.
I don’t think so twilight was first published [name_f]October[/name_f] 2005 I think it’s just coincidence although new moon came out 2006 it’s possible ya never know I guess
Those names are so popular that it’s very likely they were not twilight inspired. It’s not like they are very obvious book names such as katniss or [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f].
I agree with pretty much everyone else. These names were rising in popularity before this piece of “literature”. I honestly would never have even thought of twilight if I heard a sibset with [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] and [name_m]Jacob[/name_m]. I would just think the parents looked at a top ten list and chose from that. As an aside I can’t believe people are still thinking and talking about these books/movies. They were soooo cheesy. And not in a fun kinda way.
