Hey there. I love these funky, underrated names. [name_u]Ira[/name_u] and [name_m]Orson[/name_m] are my favorites from your list. [name_u]Ira[/name_u] might sound a bit too much like [name_f]Martha[/name_f], so what if Twin A is definitely a [name_f]Martha[/name_f]? [name_m]Orson[/name_m] [name_u]Sullivan[/name_u] is a tad too repetitive with the strong S sound and N ending. The search continues…
[name_m]Ephraim[/name_m] is right in line with your other choices. I know one [name_m]IRL[/name_m] and several from books and TV/films.
My son’s name is [name_m]Reuben[/name_m], which we originally spelled [name_m]Ruben[/name_m]. We thought the more popular/modern/international variation would be easier for people to spell correctly but we had all sorts of misspellings: [name_m]Rubin[/name_m], [name_m]Rueben[/name_m], [name_m]Ruban[/name_m], and some others that were too far-fetched to remember. I regretted not using the more traditional spelling from the get-go, since that was my preference and it felt somehow more like a “real” name to me, so we changed it. [name_u]Robin[/name_u], [name_u]Roscoe[/name_u], [name_m]Raymond[/name_m], or [name_m]Roger[/name_m] might suit too.
Other names that come to mind are [name_m]Hiram[/name_m], [name_m]Japheth[/name_m], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_m]Jerome[/name_m], [name_m]Pierce[/name_m], [name_m]Errol[/name_m], [name_m]Walter[/name_m], [name_u]Lou[/name_u], [name_m]Emile[/name_m], [name_m]Conrad[/name_m], [name_u]Denny[/name_u]?
By the way, of your girls’ picks, I love [name_f]Martha[/name_f] but don’t care for the others, so it was hard to choose a boy’s name pairing it with one of your girl’s.
Best of luck, and congratulations!
