Twin Boy Name Help! Alden and…?

[name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I are so excited to be welcoming two identical twin boys this spring and are trying to narrow down our top names! Some of the criteria we both agree on is we would like an easy to spell/pronounce first name, as our last name is [name_u]French[/name_u] and can be tricky to spell/pronounce. We love classic names and especially names with family significance. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband does not mind popular names, but I would prefer if the name was not top 10.

Right now we feel somewhat settled on [name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] as one of the twin names. [name_u]Alden[/name_u] was a significant family member and [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is my dad’s name.

Two names we are stuck between:
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] (honoring my grammie [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f], worried it’s too popular but love the sib set [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and Alden)
[name_u]George[/name_u] (family name, not too popular, love the name but don’t love the sib set [name_u]George[/name_u] and Alden)

What do you guys think?? Any other ideas are totally welcome. The middle name for this twin will be “Boots” after my husbands grandfather. It’s a little funky, but that’s the nickname that he goes by and is so special to us:)

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

[name_u]Alden[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] is very handsome! I love [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] with [name_u]Alden[/name_u] as well, but it’s so popular. Lots of little Theos and Teddys running around. [name_u]George[/name_u] is just as charming & classic but less over done. I think that [name_u]George[/name_u] & [name_u]Alden[/name_u] sound great together! Also, love the middle name [name_u]Boots[/name_u]. Very cool!

You’re the best— I love these!! Thank you so much

[name_u]Alden[/name_u] is amazing. With [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] it does remind me of [name_m]Alvin[/name_m] though, like the chipmunks. Sorry to say it but better now than later, right?

[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] is a great choice - I think it balances out the more unexpected nickname well!

[name_u]George[/name_u] and [name_u]Alden[/name_u] have a cool, 19th century sibset vibe to them!

A few suggestions:

[name_u]Milo[/name_u]
[name_u]Dorian[/name_u]
[name_u]Seth[/name_u]
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m]
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]
[name_m]Boone[/name_m] (means gift, like [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] - could work as a nod to [name_u]Boots[/name_u], if you do something like [name_m]Boone[/name_m] [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] ‘Boots’?)
[name_u]Elijah[/name_u]
[name_m]Gage[/name_m]
[name_u]Gabriel[/name_u]
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
