Twin boy names!

So, my wife and I decided, that we wanted to conceive biological children this time and found out we were pregnant with twins! We already have three daughters and would like our twins to have names that fit in. Now, we’d like suggestions for boy/boy pairings!

Our girls are [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] nn [name_f]Junie[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] nn [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lillie[/name_f]! As you can probably see, we have a certain theme going on and are big on nicknames!

As of right now, the names we like are of mythological twin pairings:
[name_m]Castor[/name_m] & [name_m]Pollux[/name_m]
[name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] & [name_m]Damian[/name_m] [after [name_m]Cosmas[/name_m] & [name_m]Damian[/name_m]]

Can you guys choose a pairing from above and/or suggest other names that fit in with the girls’ names? They don’t have to be twin names, even if we’d prefer if they were, they just have to fit in! Thank you! All help is appreciated!

What about [name_m]Castor[/name_m] & [name_m]Damien[/name_m]?

[name_m]Pollux[/name_m] sounds like a swear word. And I have a cat named [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] so I can’t see it on a human, sorry!

[name_m]Romulus[/name_m] and [name_m]Remus[/name_m] are the only two I can think of.
TBH I think it’s a bit too matchy.

[name_m]Cooper[/name_m] & [name_m]Callum[/name_m]
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m] & [name_m]Trevor[/name_m]
[name_m]Dawson[/name_m] & [name_m]Romeo[/name_m]
[name_u]Sage[/name_u] & [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]

Congrats on the twins!!

Hmm…[name_m]Castor[/name_m] and [name_m]Pollux[/name_m] is a little too on the nose, in my opinion. I agree with the above suggestion of [name_m]Castor[/name_m] and [name_m]Damian[/name_m]. I really think that [name_m]Pollux[/name_m] would be too hard to pull off nowadays, it reminds me of “pox” and an English swear word (bullocks). My favorite name you mentioned is [name_m]Damian[/name_m], which is lovely and also goes well with your daughters’ names (which are gorgeous, by the way).

I would like to second the above suggestion of [name_u]Sage[/name_u] & [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], which is one of my favorite twin boy pairings :).

What about [name_m]Casper[/name_m] and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m]?

Of the options you gave, [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and [name_m]Damian[/name_m] (only because it’s a bit less obvious than [name_m]Castor[/name_m] & [name_m]Pollux[/name_m]). I think it’s probably a bit much, though - twins have a hard enough time asserting their individuality.I think that if I were a twin, I’d like to think my parents named me for something meaningful, rather than just after other twins (if that makes sense)

Some ideas for names that are linked, but by something other than twin-ness:

[name_m]Leo[/name_m] & [name_m]Reuben[/name_m] (for da [name_m]Vinci[/name_m] & [name_m]Rubens[/name_m], both artists)
[name_m]Vincent[/name_m] & [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] (for [name_u]Van[/name_u] Gogh and [name_m]Raphael[/name_m] [name_m]Sanzio[/name_m] da Urbino, artists)
[name_m]Dante[/name_m] & [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] (for [name_m]Dante[/name_m] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] Rossetti - this one’s a bit much for me, but it’s not quite as obvious as [name_m]Castor[/name_m] & [name_m]Pollux[/name_m])
[name_u]Francis[/name_u] & [name_m]Dominic[/name_m] (founders of religious orders)
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u] & [name_u]Dylan[/name_u] (sea names)
[name_u]Everest[/name_u] & [name_m]Maximus[/name_m]/ [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] (highest and greatest)
[name_m]Maximus[/name_m] /[name_m]Macsen[/name_m] & [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] /[name_u]August[/name_u]/ [name_m]Augustine[/name_m] (great)
[name_u]Denali[/name_u] & [name_m]Idris[/name_m] (both names of mountains)
[name_m]Dante[/name_m] & [name_m]Byron[/name_m] (poets)
[name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] & [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] (gift of God)
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] & [name_m]Felix[/name_m] (happy, lucky)
[name_m]Axel[/name_m] & [name_m]Calum[/name_m] (peace)
[name_m]Damien[/name_m]/[name_m]Damian[/name_m] & [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]/[name_m]Jozef[/name_m] (Father [name_m]Damien[/name_m] of Molokai’s birth name was [name_m]Jozef[/name_m])
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] & [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] (or [name_m]Gavin[/name_m], for [name_m]Gawain[/name_m]) (heroes from Arthurian legends)
[name_m]Evander[/name_m] & [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] (Greek/ Spartan heroes)
[name_m]Wolfhart[/name_m] & [name_m]Leander[/name_m] (wolf & lion)
[name_m]Victor[/name_m] & [name_m]Nicolas[/name_m]/[name_m]Nicodemus[/name_m] (victory)
[name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] & [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] (victory & defender)

These might not be to your taste, but hopefully they might spark some ideas. Maybe you could try thinking of thing that you and your wife find meaningful (music? [name_m]Art[/name_m]? Nature? Mythology? Religion/philosophy? [name_m]Science[/name_m]? Literature? Specific concepts?)

[name_m]Anatole[/name_m] - meaning eastern sunrise
and
[name_u]Zephyr[/name_u] - meaning west wind
might be nice with an [name_f]East[/name_f]/[name_u]West[/name_u] and A/Z thing going on

[name_m]Amphion[/name_m] and Zethus are twins in Greek mythology that aren’t too far-out as names and also happen to have the A/Z thing going on. They could go by [name_m]Ion[/name_m]/[name_m]Ian[/name_m] and Zeth/[name_u]Seth[/name_u].

I prefer [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] and [name_m]Damian[/name_m]. [name_m]Castor[/name_m] and [name_m]Pollux[/name_m] is sort of cheesy. Also, there’s really no need to “play house” on Nameberry. We would be more than happy to give you name advice and suggestions without the fake family.

I think they are too obvious. Maybe keep looking.
