I’m terrified because we do not have definite names for my twin boys due early next month!!!
We are already parents to little [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
It’s funny because I was CERTAIN I was having another girl, but instead I had twin boys! WEIRD!
We really do not mind popular names, but I tend to be drawn to names slightly outside of the box, maybe more in the familiar range. That being said, we know that we will use two middles from this list of three: [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_m]Daniel[/name_m], and [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. But we are stuck on the first names. HELP!!!
Names we have discussed:
[name_m]Graham[/name_m]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
[name_m]Eric[/name_m]
[name_m]Ford[/name_m]
[name_u]Hayden[/name_u]
[name_u]Brennan[/name_u]
[name_u]Owen[/name_u]
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m]
[name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m] (If we choose this we will definitely not use the middle [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m])
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]
[name_u]Kai[/name_u]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_u]Quinn[/name_u]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u]
I like [name_m]Holden[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] as a pair.
You have so many great options already.
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m].
I like [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] as a sib set
I like [name_u]Kai[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] & [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]!
This way they have the same syllables in both first and middle names, so there is a connection, but they otherwise don’t seem too matchy. I think [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] & [name_u]Kai[/name_u] are a similar style too.
I was logging in to reply and found that gemmiebee beat me to the punch with brothers [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_u]Kai[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]. I agree with the rhythm and connection/syllables. I also like that they don’t lend themselves to nicknames so your boys will actually be called the names you love! But, maybe that’s just a pet peeve of mine.
BTW: my brother had a lovely 3 year old daughter when twin baby boys arrived! They are all wonderful now: ages 15 & 12!
You have some great names. I love [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_m]Holden[/name_m], [name_m]Bennett[/name_m], [name_u]Finn[/name_u] the most. With [name_f]Elena[/name_f] I think I like [name_m]Holden[/name_m] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] best. For middle names I would pick [name_m]Holden[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]. [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_m]Holden[/name_m] and [name_m]Bennett[/name_m]. Three strong, distinct names that all hold their own with each other.
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m]
We have expanded our middle name options. My husband, my father, and his father’s names are all [name_m]William[/name_m], so that’s why we were planning on using the name. However, now, we are open to using the middle name [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] as a name sake, also because my husband grew up on [name_m]Wesley[/name_m] St. as a child.
We also want to use the middle name [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], because that was the name of my husband’s late brother. So, we now have two other middles for our future babies.
Oh, and by the way, I had a doctor’s appointment this afternoon and they are planning on inducting me on the 28th! We are now in a real debacle trying to figure out these babies’ names!
We have narrowed down the list of first names to:
[name_m]Graham[/name_m]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u]
[name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_m]Bennett[/name_m]
My favorites from your options are [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] (favorite!), [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m], [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m], and [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], in that order, although I assume [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] might be out if you dislike rhyming names? [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] would be my second choice, but I love [name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]!
(Your daughter’s name is beautiful, by the way!)
I would love to meet twins named [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_u]Owen[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]! I also love [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] with [name_f]Elena[/name_f], or even [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. I also think [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], and [name_m]Graham[/name_m] makes a perfect trio–and I love the suggestion of [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]! [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] is also nice, although, depending on how you say [name_m]Graham[/name_m], might be strongly “A” heavy (as in “apple”).
My favorites from your list are:
[name_m]Graham[/name_m]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u]
[name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_u]Luca[/name_u]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u]
Some twin sets I like:
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] and [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] and [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]
[name_u]Finn[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] and [name_m]Holden[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]
[name_u]Rhys[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_m]Holden[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_m]Holden[/name_m] [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_m]Graham[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m]
