Looking for some input on a pair on names for twin boys arriving in less than two months…
[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Clarence[/name_m] [name_m]Joe[/name_m]
&
[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m]
We are 100% on their first names. We’ll most likely call them “[name_m]Topher[/name_m]” & “[name_m]Link[/name_m].”
[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] [name_m]Clarence[/name_m] [name_m]Joe[/name_m]
[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] is my first name. “[name_m]Clarence[/name_m]” is my paternal grandfather’s middle name … I like the [name_m]Clarence[/name_m] but does it sound distinguished to you? [name_m]How[/name_m] does it sound paired with [name_m]Joe[/name_m]? I’m not a big fan of [name_m]Joe[/name_m] (I think it’s too plain.) but my wife is dead set on it because it’s her dad’s middle name.
[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] [name_m]Robert[/name_m]
We both [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]. It’s the only name that’s not “family” in the two names. [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m] is my dad’s middle name.
Should we avoid pairing [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] with [name_m]Robert[/name_m] (my father-in-law’s name) because robert [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] was the name of [name_m]Abe[/name_m]'s most prominent son?
Any advice? Suggestions? Re-arranging?
