I’m pregnant and having my first scan in 10 days time however I’m measuring massive for my dates and have been having terrible nausea for the whole first trimester so I wouldn’t be at all surprised if the scan shows twins
We’ve settled on [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] for a boy, and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and [name_f]Xanthe[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] for girls. Would be [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] if g/b twins.
However we can’t agree on another boys name!
All the middle names are family names so just interested in some first name suggestions. We like “Old [name_f]English[/name_f]” style names.
[name_u]Alfie[/name_u] & [name_m]Tom[/name_m] was my first thought.
I love the suggestions of [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Otto[/name_m], [name_u]Toby[/name_u], [name_u]Jude[/name_u],[name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_u]Max[/name_u], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], [name_u]Rafe[/name_u], [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and [name_m]Henry[/name_m].
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] and [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and [name_m]Archie[/name_m]
[name_u]Alfie[/name_u] [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] & [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_u]Anne[/name_u] would be amazing! I love them. And if there are two little boys, how about [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] and…
Thanks for all the suggestions so far. Lots of names here I really like ([name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_u]Freddie[/name_u], [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] etc). The only problem is they are all really popular here in NZ and I want a name that’s preferably not in the top 100, but definitely not in the top 50. I’m a teacher and I know how annoying it is for kids to end up being called [name_m]Jack[/name_m] W and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] T etc in school because there are lots of kids with the same name.
[name_u]Alfie[/name_u] is 14th in the UK- where I’m from- but not in the top 100 at all here in NZ where we live so that’s great!
I’m also from [name_u]New[/name_u] Zealand and it’s lovely that there’s some British names that haven’t quite hit the same popularity here (like [name_f]Orla[/name_f] on the girls side).
Personally, I’d like another short form name with [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] but perhaps not one that ends in -ie so they’re still distinctive. Ideas that aren’t in the NZ Top 100:
[name_u]Alfie[/name_u] & [name_u]Kit[/name_u] (this is my favourite for you as it’s one of my top boys names right now)
[name_u]Alfie[/name_u] & [name_u]Jude[/name_u] (not a nickname, but has the same feel)
[name_u]Alfie[/name_u] & [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] (Nickname for [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] in Russian and I LOVE [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] for a boy)
I thin [name_u]Alfie[/name_u] is so sweet. sorry if ive repeated any other people of said. how about…
[name_u]Teddy[/name_u]
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u]
[name_u]Vinnie[/name_u]
[name_m]Baxter[/name_m]
[name_m]Rufus[/name_m]
[name_m]Leon[/name_m]
[name_u]Aidan[/name_u]
???
let me know if any of these help and what you go for!!!
