My SIL is due in January with their first pregnancy and they are having twin girls. They would like help with ideas for a name to go with [name_f] Yasmin Violet [/name_f]
Amber Poppy (@tori101)
Naomi Jade (@Casea33)
Hayley Acacia
Heather Louise
Laura Bluebell/ Laura Willow (following @Greyblue)
(Basically not matchy-matchy which is a burden for twins, imo, but still where one name 90s icon/supermodel lol and the other, a floral/outdoorsy name)
I don’t warm to the other names on the list so much (Shawna is especially harsh sounding to me) - but Doreen has something very sweet about it. I prefer it in second spot. Eg:
Yasmin Violet & Rose Doreen
…or if not excited by the floral connection then how about Eva?
Yasmin Violet & Eva Doreen is so romantic and beautiful to me.
Are we pronouncing [name_f]Yasmin[/name_f] as yazz-MEEN, or more like YAZZ-min? If yazz-MEEN, [name_f]Doreen[/name_f] is too matchy.
[name_f]Yasmin[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is a flower and a color (or two flowers). So sticking with that theme and their list, I arrive at [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f], though I don’t personally love it.
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f], though, makes more sense and sounds nice together.
Maybe we could expand to nature in general.
[name_f]Amber[/name_f] [name_f]Leticia[/name_f] (similar to Nateacia) or [name_f]Leticia[/name_f] [name_f]Amber[/name_f]
Other ideas:
[name_f]Solana[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] (Lana-Lou, if they’re nicknamers) (similar to Sofala)
[name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] (A flower, like [name_f]Yasmin[/name_f], emphasis on second syllable, like [name_f]Yasmin[/name_f] [I think], yet a totally different name: different sounds and syllable count.)
