Finally found out the genders of my twins, beyond excited to be having two more girls to join big sister [name_f]Phillipa[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]!! I’m having a hard time with the names for these two however. [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] is my own daughter from before my marriage, I’ve since married my husband who I am having the twins with. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband is from [name_u]Jordan[/name_u], and he wants the girls to have Arabic names, which I am fine with-- there’s no shortage of gorgeous Arabic names for girls! The only problem is that ideally I would like their names to match with [name_f]Pippa[/name_f]'s name on paper–that is, even though we call her [name_f]Pippa[/name_f], I’d like their names to look good next to [name_f]Phillipa[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. Any ideas? Their last name will be Arabic, four syllables, starting with A and ending in -em. Middle names don’t necessarily have to be of any particular origin. The only contender I really have for a first name right now is Mariam. A little old-school, but so is Phillipa imo. We also both have some Puerto Rican heritage, so I would be open to names of that origin, but the preference would be Arabic.
(Sorry if this is less-than-coherent, it’s been a long night )
I recently discovered Adalet, which I think has Arabic roots. I think [name_f]Phillipa[/name_f], [name_f]Mariam[/name_f], and Adalet go nicely together.
