I’m seven months pregnant with twins. I just found out today that I’m having twins. I did not receive proper prenatal care, so this came as a huge surprise to us. It’s quite late in the game, but my husband and I are absolutely overjoyed. We’re naming the twins for my late father-in-law, [name]Sidney[/name], and my own late little brother, [name]Oscar[/name], so the girls will have S and O names.
My husband’s family is from [name]France[/name], and I myself am [name]Haitian[/name]-French and have lived in [name]France[/name] nearly all my life. So, there is much pressure from both sides to give both of the girls names with some French flair. However, my husband and I are Mr. and Mrs. Indecisive, and we can’t seem to settle on a name we like.
That’s where you come in! I was wondering if anyone could possibly suggest some S and O girl names to us? If they have a sort of French edge to them, my family will be very happy, but ultimately I just want to have a lot of options.
The names I’ve been mulling over are as followed: [name]Scarlett[/name], [name]Sadie[/name], [name]Sabine[/name], [name]Scout[/name], [name]Sorell[/name], [name]Sol[/name]ène, and [name]Serena[/name]. For my other daughter, I have: [name]Oriana[/name] and Orélie. I [name]LOVE[/name] the name Orélie and really want to use it, but my husband isn’t crazy about it.
Congratulations on your twins. I definitely think you should give them French names as there are so many beautiful ones to chose from and lots that work well in English too. Good luck!
The same thing happened to my aunt! She didn’t know until [name]May[/name] or [name]June[/name] that she was expecting twins, and the boys were born in [name]August[/name].
Congratulations! I’m expecting twin girls too, and wow, I can’t imagine what a surprise it would be to find out so late! [name]Sabine[/name] is lovely. I like [name]Orelie[/name], [name]Oona[/name], and [name]Ophelie[/name] too. My favorite O name is [name]Orla[/name], though that’s Irish. There aren’t as many S and O names as I hoped, but you may find some ideas for middles there too! All the best to you.
[name]Solene[/name] & [name]Orelie[/name] would be beautiful for twins! If you can convince your husband, that is. I also like [name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Oriana[/name] for twins, but they aren’t French names, and there are so many beautiful ones I think you should definitely use some!
