I’m expecting twins and was wondering what you thought of pairing together some of my favorite names. You can also suggest any names you think I may like.
I love [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]! [name_m]Both[/name_m] gorgeous vintage classics with a similar rhythm and feel. [name_f]Emmy[/name_f] and [name_f]Addy[/name_f] would make an adorable pair. [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] would be my runners-up.
Ooh how I love [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]! I really like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] or [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f].
You’ve got lots of lovely names and possible combinations here-- I don’t think you can go wrong as they pretty much all work well together and are the same type of names.
Some possible combinations:
[name_f]Corrine[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] ([name_u]Cory[/name_u] and [name_f]Addy[/name_f])
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] ([name_f]Emmy[/name_f] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u]/Aury)
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_f]Corinne[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]
I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f]! I wouldn’t pair any of the names on your list with it though. Maybe [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] & [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] & [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] & [name_f]Corinne[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] & [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] & [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], or [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] & [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] (if you don’t mind the alliteration)?
Hmm…
My thoughts on the names:
[name_f]Corinne[/name_f] - Very elegant, with a gorgeous European appeal. I like [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] a lot, along with the simplicity of this choice she feels unique. It’s a great classic to go with.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] - Another lovely name, [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] feels very strong and too me has a lot of charisma. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is a spunky name and looks lovely, I also love the ‘[name_f]Addie[/name_f]’ nickname.
[name_f]Annabel[/name_f] - [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] choice, [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] is really soft and whimsical in sound. I also adore the nicknames surrounding [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] such as [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Annie[/name_f] and potentially [name_f]Anya[/name_f]. [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] is great.
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] - Okay you’ve got a fantastic naming style. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] has a lovely spark, she feels so majestic and has a lovely [name_f]Princess[/name_f] feel. I also love that despite feminine quality she has the cool nickname of [name_u]Rory[/name_u] which for a girl as a stand-alone-name I dislike but as a nickname is cool. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is a great choice.
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - A beautiful choice, like [name_f]Corinne[/name_f] she has a very sweet European feel. [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] is a lovely name! She has great historical associations with [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] Pankhurst and has a lovely nickname of [name_f]Emme[/name_f].
[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] - Another great choice, but I prefer [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] with the [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] nickname just because [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] does feel slightly informal, even though nickname trend is huge where I am I just don’t think [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] works as well as other nickname names like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] - [name_m]Ah[/name_m] never ever liked [name_m]George[/name_m] and his variants this unfortunately includes [name_f]Georgia[/name_f].
