Annoucing the arrival of [name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Susan[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f], who arrived on the morning of the 15th of [name_u]August[/name_u] via a c-section. They were born at 32 weeks 4 days, but are doing well and not needing any oxygen but are in the NICU and have a few little problems, but thankfully nothing too serious. [name_f]Opal[/name_f] has some jaundice and both are in incubators, [name_f]Opal[/name_f] weighs in at 3lbs 2oz and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] weigh in at 3lbs 7oz. They are hopefully going to be coming home with us by their due date the 9th of [name_f]October[/name_f].
Quick background on their names! [name_f]Opal[/name_f] is a name I fell in love with over the past few weeks and my husband did too, [name_f]Susan[/name_f] is a family name as is [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is in honour of my husband’s father, [name_m]William[/name_m], who the girls’ share a birthday with.
