Twin Girls

I hope you get to use [name_f]Opal[/name_f]!

With twin girls, I would give one of your mothers’ names to each girl. I think it would be a little odd to give [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] two significant family names and [name_f]Opal[/name_f] none. Neither name flows great with [name_f]Opal[/name_f] (Opal [name_f]Carol[/name_f] rhyme, [name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] runs together)… but if you were open to using more modern variants, you have lovely choices like [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Evelynn[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalynn[/name_f], or Lynnet.

I would pick [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] & [name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalynn[/name_f], or [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] Lynnet & [name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. Good luck!

[name_f]Saffron[/name_f]? [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] sound really exotic together
Maybe [name_f]Amber[/name_f]? [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] rather than [name_f]Opal[/name_f]

I love the suggestion of [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and think [name_f]Amaya[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Carolynn[/name_f] are kinda darling

I will suggest

Adding [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_u]Ember[/name_u]

What about [name_f]Amara[/name_f]?

These come to mind as Ruby’s twin:

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] & [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] & [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f] & [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] & [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]

I don’t care for [name_f]Carolynn[/name_f] either and personally wouldn’t recommend one child with two honor names mushed together. I really love the suggestion of [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] to honor your mother, even for a first name. [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] & Caroline-SWOON! If not, [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is such a lovely middle name option. Then I would give the other twin a name that honors MIL. There are lots of names with [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] in them (i.e. [name_f]Brooklynn[/name_f], [name_f]Adalynn[/name_f], Jocelynn) or you could use your MILs maiden name, her first name?
