Twin Girls

My husband and I have 4 beautiful daughters. (LONG story short here) We recently decided to have one more baby and than we’d be done. In the past we had always wanted a boy but by now we were so use to having all girls that it truly didn’t matter to us if it was a boy or girl. Well we got the BIGGEST SUPRISE of our life when we were told we were expecting TWINS and you guessed it TWIN GIRLS at that! Our girls names all end in “lee” and our last name is LeBlanc.
We have a-
Kylee Nicole
Harlee Elizabeth
Adlee Claire and a
Quinlee Jade (which my older girls and I wanted to name her Everlee Kate but my husband decided he liked Quinlee better)
We found out we were having a girl through blood test early on. We actually knew we were having a girl long before we knew we were having twins… Thinking we would be having one baby girl we already decided and knew her name would be Everlee Kate. I’m running out of “lee” names and honestly since they were twins I wanted to drift away from the “lee” names but my oldest daughter was so upset that I just can’t do it but sheesh this is hard!! I’d love to still use Everlee but nothing goes with it besides Beverlee(as my husband suggested ) but I like modern names so I just can’t do it! The only names we can come up with that we really like are “Kingslee and Kinslee” but when I look up the name “Kingslee” which most articles and things I’ve seen/read were from 2015-2016 and things change but people have made some of the meanest, ugliest, nastiest, and rudest comments and such about the name Kingslee. So much so that it almost scares me to name her that. I’m looking for a little input and/or some opinions here… But PLEASE try not to be to harsh  Is the name really that horrible?!?

What a fun surprise!
Truthfully, I don’t love [name_f]Kingslee[/name_f] for a girl. Plus, Quinlee sounds kind of like Queenslee, which would just be odd. [name_f]Kinslee[/name_f] is fine, but awfully close to [name_f]Kylee[/name_f].

With [name_f]Everlee[/name_f], perhaps consider:
Tinslee
[name_f]Ainslee[/name_f]
[name_u]Brinlee[/name_u]
Waverlee

congrats - how fun!! [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] is lovely, and I think it fits in perfectly. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Kingslee[/name_f] or [name_f]Kinslee[/name_f], sorry! Especially [name_f]Kingslee[/name_f], I think the first syllable sounds too masculine compared to her sisters names!

some other ideas to go with [name_f]Everlee[/name_f]:
[name_f]Amalee[/name_f]
[name_f]Avalee[/name_f] (maybe too matchy with [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] though)
[name_u]Baylee[/name_u]
[name_u]Brinlee[/name_u] / [name_f]Brynlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Brylee[/name_f]
[name_f]Callee[/name_f]
[name_f]Cailee[/name_f] / [name_f]Caylee[/name_f]
[name_f]Cheslee[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralee[/name_f]
[name_f]Emalee[/name_f] / [name_f]Emmalee[/name_f]
[name_f]Emberlee[/name_f] (again, maybe too matchy)
[name_u]Finlee[/name_u]
[name_f]Kenzlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Maylee[/name_f]
[name_f]Mollee[/name_f]
[name_f]Novalee[/name_f]

[name_f]Skylee[/name_f]

Waverlee
[name_f]Westerlee[/name_f] / Westlee
[name_f]Whitlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Zaylee[/name_f]

Good luck!!

How about Coralee or Ottilie or even Romilee.
Jessamee?
Rosalee
felicitee

[name_f]Kingslee[/name_f] is not my style and it seems a bit less feminine than your other daughters’ names. [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is beautiful.

What about…

[name_f]Rosalee[/name_f]
[name_f]Destinee[/name_f]
Briarlee
[name_f]Charlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Marlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Jaylee[/name_f]
Fayelee
[name_f]Ainslee[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralee[/name_f]
[name_f]Novalee[/name_f]
[name_u]Oaklee[/name_u]
[name_f]Ashlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Brynlee[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Kinslee[/name_f] & [name_f]Everlee[/name_f]!

I really like [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] & [name_f]Journee[/name_f]

Congratulations!

As with others, I’m also not a big fan of [name_f]Kingslee[/name_f], especially with Quinlee in your family mix. And I think if you loved it you’d be comfy going with it despite what you’ve seen (nothing in the world can make me rethink my favourites).

I think [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] is perfect. Would you consider spelling it [name_f]Everleigh[/name_f] (I just adore that spelling, but obvs no biggie, and if you did that [name_u]Leigh[/name_u] ending with both twins it joins the twins’ names together without disconnecting them from their sisters)

I think there are some great suggestions above… [name_u]Love[/name_u] the ideas above of Romily or [name_f]Waverley[/name_f] (change how the [name_u]Lee[/name_u] sound is spelled if preferred).

A few others (again, just mix up the "-lee) spelling)
Kirilee
[name_u]Blakeley[/name_u]
[name_f]Hartleigh[/name_f]
[name_f]Siddalee[/name_f]
Joellee
[name_f]Hailee[/name_f]
[name_f]Hadleigh[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_u]Paisley[/name_u]
Rivaleigh
Nicalee
[name_f]Lilly[/name_f]
Daralee
Eslee
Winleigh

I quite like [name_f]Kingslee[/name_f] :woman_shrugging:

With [name_f]Kylee[/name_f], [name_u]Harlee[/name_u], Adlee, Quinlee and [name_f]Everlee[/name_f], I’d suggest

[name_f]Kinslee[/name_f]
[name_f]Hadlee[/name_f]
Pearlee
Amelee
Bravelee
Jailee
[name_f]Caylee[/name_f]
[name_f]Bailee[/name_f]
Dalee
[name_f]Rosalee[/name_f]
Gracelee
[name_f]Emberlee[/name_f]
Pemberlee
[name_f]Merrilee[/name_f]
[name_f]Coralee[/name_f]

sorry for any repeats…
[name_f]Everlee[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is adorable btw!

[name_f]Sallee[/name_f]
[name_f]Hailee[/name_f] (may be a bit matchy with harlee)
[name_u]Rilee[/name_u]
[name_f]Paislee[/name_f]
[name_f]Maylee[/name_f]
[name_f]Bailee[/name_f]
[name_f]Ellee[/name_f]
[name_f]Marlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmalee[/name_f]
Dannalee
[name_f]Carlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Raylee[/name_f]
[name_f]Jaylee[/name_f]
Angelee

I like these name combos because they fit the -lee theme, but also start with the same letter:

Baylee and Beverlee

Everlee and Emilee

Paislee and Preslee

[name_f]Kylee[/name_f], [name_u]Harlee[/name_u], Adlee, Quinlee, [name_f]Everlee[/name_f], and

Allee
[name_f]Millee[/name_f]
[name_f]Julee[/name_f]
[name_f]Mollee[/name_f]
Tillee

I think for the twins it might be fun to switch up the LEE ending. you can still keep the same sound to match your other girls names but give them their own ending to give them their own identity as twins.

[name_u]Everly[/name_u] and [name_u]Baily[/name_u]
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] and [name_u]Truly[/name_u]

[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f] and [name_f]Hadleigh[/name_f]

Though I reall like the name [name_f]Kinsley[/name_f], I would not use it with your sidestep, because the “IN” sound repeats with the same sound in quinlee. Here are my suggestions, you can either go with more traditional names for the twins that still are spelled with the LEE ending, but sound like regular names. For example, [name_f]Emilee[/name_f], [name_f]Mollee[/name_f], [name_f]Marilee[/name_f], [name_f]Hollee[/name_f], Cecilee, [name_f]Analee[/name_f], Rosilee. It would sort of set the twins apart.

[name_u]Or[/name_u] you could continue with the newer style names
kylee nicole, H@rley Eliz@beth, adlee cl@ire, quinlee j@de, [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] kate and…
[name_u]Blakelee[/name_u] *
Paislee*
Jolee*
Ainslee*
Bailee*

  • ideas for possible middle names - [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Isla[/name_f] [name_u]Marin[/name_u] [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Susan[/name_f] [name_f]Audra[/name_f] [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] [name_f]Sarah[/name_f]

Congratulations!! and good luck with your decision on naming them. Sounds like you have a lot of little helpers…

Congratulations!! What a lovely surprise  Kinslee is a beautiful name, and I think Kingslee is nice too, it just might be a bit too masculine compared to the “Queen” sound of Quinlee. I love other’s suggestions of keeping the same sound for the twins’ names, but perhaps giving them a different ending might help set them apart? & I adore Everlee Kate! What about paired with Novalee Jane?

I also love Maylee, Kinslee, Marlee, & Ainslee for you, best of luck!!

With [name_f]Kylee[/name_f], Adlee, [name_u]Harlee[/name_u], Quinlee and [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] I would suggest

[name_f]Brynlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Marlee[/name_f]
[name_f]Loralee[/name_f]
[name_u]Finlee[/name_u]
Taylee
[name_f]Raylee[/name_f]
Floralee
[name_f]Paislee[/name_f]

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! Another twin mom here! (Mine are [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and Susannah) Ultimately, for your question, [name_f]Kingslee[/name_f] is not my favorite on a girl, but [name_f]Kinslee[/name_f] is cute, IMO. [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] and [name_f]Kinslee[/name_f] are nice additions to your other girls’ names. The only downside of [name_f]Kinslee[/name_f] is that it is pretty similar to Quinlee. I know that it must be difficult to keep finding names that you love that fit in to this theme, so if that’s the only one you love, I don’t think it’s too similar to use.

Other suggestions that go with your theme:
[name_f]Emilee[/name_f]
Ottilee
[name_f]Natalee[/name_f]
[name_f]Jolee[/name_f]
Waverlee
[name_f]Merilee[/name_f]
[name_f]Ainslee[/name_f]
[name_f]Anslee[/name_f]
Livelee
[name_f]Greenlee[/name_f]
Verilee
Berkelee
[name_f]Coralee[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] and Ottilee sound cute together and are just different enough not to be too confusing. [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] and [name_f]Coralee[/name_f] are cute together too.

I also want to throw this out there: with twins, since you are naming 2 at once, you could totally forget about the theme you already have going and name them according to their own theme. If you don’t want to, I get it, but if you wanted to, you could because they wouldn’t feel left out since they both have a different name. Something like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], or [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_u]June[/name_u] (idk what your style would be, other than the [name_u]Lee[/name_u] names.) [name_m]Just[/name_m] thought I’d throw that suggestion out there. Best wishes to you on your twin mom journey. It’s quite a ride!

But I thought you could find out it’s twins on first appointment? I do not know [name_f]English[/name_f] word for type of exam, but if doctor look with sond on your tummy he can see uterus, and both babies in form of embrios. There’s no reason why doctor can’t see two embrios, but can see one.

You’ve had so many great suggestions. I really like [name_f]Paislee[/name_f] and [name_u]Oaklee[/name_u] with [name_f]Everlee[/name_f]. Most of my suggestions were already named but how about [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] and Trulee? [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] and Eislee?

I like [name_f]Ainslee[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalee[/name_f] a lot with Everlee!! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Everlee[/name_f] and [name_f]Ainslee[/name_f]
