My DH orginally vetoed [name]Everly[/name] but he admitted that it’s grown on him considerably after he did, and now he likes the sound of the name enough to use it! We’re struggling for girls names so this was a breakthrough! I’ve always loved the name and wanted to use it but he wasn’t sold but he says he wants to use it now.
We’re obviously not 100% decided yet, but it looks like it’s high in the list!
Our top contenders for the boy twin are [name]Wilder[/name], [name]Hudson[/name] & [name]Sloane[/name]. We like the sound of [name]Everly[/name] & [name]Wilder[/name] as twins but aren’t 100% sold.
So, do you have any suggestions for a twin for [name]Everly[/name]?
(ps - Older brother is [name]Arlo[/name] [name]Tobin[/name])
I agree - [name]Everly[/name] and [name]Wilder[/name] is very nice and it sounds good with [name]Arlo[/name] as well! For me, [name]Sloane[/name] is all girl and I just prefer [name]Wilder[/name] to [name]Hudson[/name]. I would suggest [name]Oliver[/name] but I feel like it may share too many sounds with [name]Everly[/name]. Your style for boys seems simple & masculine - a lot of them are surname type names. Maybe:
[name]Rowan[/name]
[name]Brennan[/name]
[name]Keaton[/name]
[name]Rhys[/name]
[name]Finn[/name] (or for a longer version, [name]Finbar[/name], [name]Finnegan[/name], [name]Finley[/name], etc.)
[name]Levi[/name]
[name]Jude[/name]
[name]Carson[/name]
The only one I don’t like and think is out of place is [name]Hudson[/name]. It feels heavy and clunky
Although all three are on my favorites list, [name]Arlo[/name] shares sounds with both [name]Everly[/name] and [name]Sloane[/name]. A name with totally different sounds like [name]Wilder[/name] breaks it up
I’m a music person so [name]Arlo[/name] [name]Guthrie[/name] & the [name]Everly[/name] Brothers come to mind, so the only suggestions I can think of
[name]Arlo[/name], [name]Everly[/name] & [name]Miles[/name]
[name]Arlo[/name], [name]Everly[/name] & [name]Otis[/name]
[name]Arlo[/name], [name]Everly[/name] & [name]Cole[/name]
[name]Arlo[/name], [name]Everly[/name] & [name]Porter[/name]
[name]Arlo[/name], [name]Everly[/name] & [name]Davis[/name]
[name]Arlo[/name], [name]Everly[/name] & [name]Dylan[/name]
[name]Nat[/name], very cute ideas with a musical theme! [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Otis[/name]!!
Of your original picks, [name]Hudson[/name] is by far my favorite. As other have pointed out, [name]Sloane[/name] has become quite feminine. To me, [name]Wilder[/name] is kind of asking for trouble and/or putting a lot of pressure on a child to be no only [name]Wild[/name], but [name]Wilder[/name].
[name]How[/name] about [name]Wylie[/name] or [name]Wiley[/name]? [name]Kinda[/name] like [name]Wilder[/name] only not…[name]Wild[/name].
But I actually think [name]Hudson[/name] is a great match – very compatible in style but distinct in sound and feels masculine ecause of the son ending.
I also like a lot of the names on this list – Modern Hero Names | Nameberry – with [name]Everly[/name]: [name]Bowie[/name], [name]Edison[/name], [name]Hendrix[/name], [name]Lincoln[/name], [name]Reeve[/name]…
