So VERY soon I’m having b/g (Finally a daughter! xD) twins and the naming process isn’t going so well…

I already have three boys:

Whilst I love my boy’s names, I don’t know if I want to keep the ‘Be’ for my newest two.

What do you guys think, will it weird to have three ‘be’ and two random other ones?

I love the name [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] for a little boy but I don’t know for middle names or for my little girl…

Any girl names/middle names to go with those will be VERY appreciated!

If you only had two kids with B names I would say using a different initial would be fine, but in my opinion 3 or more is a pattern and I think it would be best kept as it is…

Lemme just say, I think your kid’s names are cool after. Like [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] [name_m]Bowen[/name_m]? I want that name!!! xD

It may be kinda weird having 3 B’s and two others but I think it’ll work with the right names I think.
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] is also a cool name. I think it’d go good with [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] or some name like that.

I think it’d be fine to change the initials, but since you do have three B names, I’d recommend using matching initials for the twins, so it’d balance out. Since you like [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] for a boy, maybe you could use [name_f]Willa[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_u]Winter[/name_u], or [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] for a girl.

I would probably keep the BE theme going personally.* Twins will already have a special bond.* I think it’s cute incorporating their names with their brothers.

I think five B names is a lot and it would be confusing starting to say each name with the same sound. I would go with other initials and I do like pp’s suggestion of having the twins sharing the same initial so it doesn’t look too different but different ones would be fine too. I think more emphasis should be put on choosing names that you love rather than matching siblings as we should think of them as each individuals and not a matching sibling set.

If you were just having one baby, I would say to match the name so that the new baby didn’t feel left out. But since you are having two, I think you could break from the pattern without leaving just one person out. I would probably tie the twins’ names together in some way.

I think you’ll be getting into Kardashian territory if you choose two more Be names.

I think it would be nice to have two W names instead to mix it up. I like suggestions of [name_f]Winifred[/name_f] aka winne, winter, willow, willa, wren with wyatt and maybe you could make the middle name of the two the “be” tradition.

As for their names, I’d say keep up with the same pattern because otherwise it might be odd. I mean, three makes a pattern. However, you should still do as you please!

I don’t really have name suggestions right now but I did want to weigh in on the B- name thing.

I think you have a few options.

  1. Stick with all B names. I veto’d A names for DD because both DH and I are A- named people and I didn’t want to start a trend. So with that thinking you already have a trend if you can find B- names you like going with them could be cool.
  2. You could only give BB4 a B name and BG1 a completely different name. This way the B trend is just for your boys and does not arch over to your girl. I don’t know if this singles her out more than you’d like but honestly with four brothers she’s going just going to be the thumb in the hand anyway.
  3. Choose a different initial for the twins and give them both the same. No need to stick with B but choose something else. You are having two at once this is the perfect time to choose something new and while they’d be different the different initial would also point out their twin-ness.
  4. As screw-it and choose whatever names you like best.

I’d probably stay away from option 4 and if you are having a hard time finding two more B names you like option 2 or 3 might just be best. Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!

I agree with ziggy2112 that I may be getting into Kardashian territory with 5 Be’s, so I’m feeling further and further away from that plan.

My husband doesn’t like [name_f]Willa[/name_f], which is what most people have said to go with [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m], so I don’t think that’ll work either. I’d like the twins’ initials to be the same but dislike most ‘W’ girl names, so this is pushing me further away from [name_m]Wyatt[/name_m] too…
My boys aren’t too helpful either, with [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] suggesting “[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] [name_m]Jr[/name_m]. and [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] [name_m]Jr[/name_m]. The girl” and [name_m]Benson[/name_m] suggesting Spiderman… I do like [name_m]Beckett[/name_m]'s suggestgion of [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] (Like [name_u]Ash[/name_u] Ketchum from Pokemon)

So if any of you have any girl ‘A’ names, that would be useful too. I’m not crazy about it so other b/g same-initial suggestions would be super useful!

I really like [name_u]Micah[/name_u] (As you suggested) but it’s the name of my husband’s ex, so not great connotations.
