So I’m not pregnant with twins, just one girl and we are set on the name [name_f]Eleni[/name_f]. But for fun me and DH we’re discussing what other names we would have picked. I said if we were having b/g twins then I would want [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] and [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m]. Safe to say he absolutely hated the idea of same endings even though they don’t rhyme.
Is this a common opinion?
It depends. A lot of people find matching twin names very cheesy, others think it’s cute.
In the case of [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] and [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] I think the names are different enough so it’s not cheesy or silly. That said, if your husband hates it so much I’m sure there are other boy names not ending in -i you’ll both like.
I agree it depends. I personally dislike overly matched twin names but in the case of [name_f]Eleni[/name_f] and [name_m]Bodhi[/name_m] I think the names are different enough even though they both end in -i. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this makes sense!
