We’re expecting twins in [name_f]October[/name_f] and are struggling with coming up with a second boy/girl name that we like as much as the first. These are our first children and we’re not going to find out the sexes before the birth which means we have the mammoth task of coming up with 4 names (8 including middle names). Our twins are di/di which means they are most likely fraternal so could be any combination of boy/boy, girl/girl or boy/girl.
For boys we really like the name [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] so that one’s a definite. Other names we quite like are [name_m]Edward[/name_m] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u] but I’m not sure we love either name as much as [name_u]Elliott[/name_u]. I also liked [name_m]William[/name_m] but one of my friends has just named her little boy that so that one’s out. We want to stick with strong sounding quite traditional names for boys.
For girls, our favourite that we both agree on is [name_f]Esme[/name_f]. I then also quite like [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_u]Madison[/name_u] and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] but again I’m not as sure about any of them as I am about [name_f]Esme[/name_f].
Any thoughts or ideas would be hugely appreciated!

I agree that [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] and [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is the perfect boy/girl combo and I think I’m pretty set on [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] for 2 girls (just got to get DH to agree to [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]).
I also love [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] for 2 boys but unfortunately my sister’s little boy is an [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] so that one’s out. Also like [name_u]James[/name_u] but it doesn’t go with our surname (it rhymes). Only option I’m left with that I really like is [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] and [name_m]Edward[/name_m] but DH thinks they sound too matchy with the 2 Es (doesn’t seem to have the same concern with boy/girl).
Great names. The only one I am not a fan of is [name_u]Madison[/name_u]. For g/g twins I would choose [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]; b/b: [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u]; and b/g: [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. Boom.
Maybe you’d like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]? I like [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] together. As well as [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. (These are all on my list.)
