It sounds like a sibset out of a YA fantasy novel about mythology, sorry. Separately they’re both lovely names, [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is totally wearable and [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] a bit more out there but still usable, but not together.
I love the combo! I think that the two names are both soft, and float off the tongue! They sound like characters from a romantic fantasy to me I don’t see any problem!
I like them together! My first thought was astronomy and then mythology, which is a really good thing. Definitely better than a lot of twin names out there.
Have to agree with the first reply, for me the combo is a bit too fantasy/mythology for me… But I have to admit that I’m not a big fan of either name on their own either. [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is pretty cute though I would never use it, [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] is just too much - there’s a couple of ‘god-ly’ names that are a no go for me because they are just too clearly associated with the respective god ([name_m]Zeus[/name_m], [name_m]Achilles[/name_m], [name_u]Calypso[/name_u], [name_f]Cassiopeia[/name_f], [name_m]Hermes[/name_m], [name_m]Icarus[/name_m], [name_f]Medea[/name_f], [name_m]Odysseus[/name_m], Pegasus, Prometheus, being the main ones).
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] and [name_m]Apollo[/name_m] immediately make me think of Space Missions, sorry!
I think both are great names on their own, if a little trendy, but together they’re too “themey” for me and feel too deliberately “cool”.
I think it’s a cute combo! It’s definitely out there, but not in a bad way.
