Twin Names!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Everyone!

I recently found out that my sister is having twins! Not only that, its a boy AND a girl! There were so many names that we loved, but all of us loved the names, [name_m]Harry[/name_m] and [name_f]Hailey[/name_f].

[name_m]Harry[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]
[name_f]Hailey[/name_f] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you guys think those two are good names? BTW my sister is young, and she was and still is a big fan of One Direction. LOL, hence the name [name_m]Harry[/name_m] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]

I personally am not a fan of “matchy” subsets, so the same initials are NMS. Also, [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] is a bit outdated [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. If she wants to keep the same first initial, how about:
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f]
[name_f]Holly[/name_f]
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Hope[/name_f]

I think [name_m]Harry[/name_m] would work better as a nickname for [name_m]Henry[/name_m] or [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]. Nicknames on the birth certificate are not the best idea, IMHO. Better to give the child a full name he/she can tailor to his/her personality.

Wishing your sister and her babies well.

Thank you so much for the feedback!

I forgot to say that [name_f]Hailey[/name_f] is one of her best friends names, so it has a very special place in her heart.

In my opinion, I agree with [name_m]Harry[/name_m] how it’s commonly used as a nickname; I’ve told her multiple times to consider the name [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], maybe. But she wouldn’t change her mind.
