[name_m]Hi[/name_m], Y’all. So I am writing a story and in this world everyone has twins, only twins. They don’t have just one baby or triplets. Basically the main characters are a set of triplets and stuff. Anyway all their friends and most of the people they meet are twins so I need names that will would together for twins. (Wow my story sounds really confusing.) The main characters names are [name_u]Hunter[/name_u], [name_u]Hayden[/name_u], and [name_m]Holden[/name_m].
So far I have

Names can be boy/boy , girl/girl , or boy/girl

Hello! I’m a writer myself and my one concern I have is that names that are too matchy tend to confuse first time readers. Some readers out there aren’t as good with names as others and tend to remember characters by their initials instead of their names in the beginning of the story where readers are still only familiarizing with your story and the world it is set in. (e.g. a character named [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] might be remembered as ‘that character with a J name’ or a simpler name such as [name_m]Jason[/name_m]).
Having said that, my choice in your list would be [name_m]Colt[/name_m] and [name_f]Mare[/name_f], as they are the least matchy of all the choices.
But this is only my opinion. I’ll throw you matchy names if that really is your style. First few names of each list are matchy and lesser so towards the end.
