Twin number two is still nameless!!!

After our poll, we decided on [name]Amelia[/name] [name]June[/name]. [name]Amelia[/name] will go by [name]Molly[/name]. [name]Amelia[/name] [name]June[/name] literally means “energetic youthful one”. We really love this one but wouldn’t my opinions.

We have absolutely no idea what we are going to name [name]Molly[/name]'s twin sister. We really like Scrallet but couldn’t find any names to go with it. Aswell, there really wasn’t any great meaning in [name]Scarlett[/name]. “rich cloth” just wasn’t working for us.

I love [name]Amelia[/name] [name]June[/name]!

[name]Amelia[/name] and:

[name]Charlotte[/name] (nn [name]Lottie[/name])
[name]Diana[/name] (nn [name]Annie[/name])
[name]Eleanor[/name] (nn [name]Nell[/name] or [name]Nora[/name])
[name]Felicity[/name] (nn Lissy or [name]Flossie[/name])
[name]Genevieve[/name] (nn [name]Evie[/name])
[name]Josephine[/name] (nn [name]Josie[/name])
[name]Margaret[/name] (nn [name]Daisy[/name])
[name]Susannah[/name] (nn [name]Annie[/name])

Good luck!

We considered [name]Margaret[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name]. [name]Margaret[/name] means [name]Pearl[/name] in Greek. We are very into names’ meanings. Although [name]Pearl[/name] isn’t necessarily a terrible meaning (in fact it’s rather pretty), we just don’t think it goes well with Energetic (hehe). [name]Eleanor[/name] on the other hand means [name]Bright[/name] one. [name]Eleanor[/name] is defintely a possibility.

I really really love [name]Amelia[/name] [name]June[/name]. I’m glad you chose something that really means something to you; that’s the most important part. Also, since meanings are important, I found some names that I like with [name]Amelia[/name] [name]June[/name]:

[name]Eleanor[/name]: bright shining one
[name]Hannah[/name]: grace
[name]Audrey[/name]: noble strength
[name]Elizabeth[/name]: pledged to God
[name]Adele[/name]: noble

Personally, my favorite is [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Adele[/name]. For some reason, I don’t think [name]Hannah[/name] is suggested enough and I really like it with [name]Amelia[/name]. I also like [name]Adele[/name] as a mn and think it’s meaning is beautiful paired with [name]Hannah[/name]: “noble grace.” Good luck!

[name]Amelia[/name] is so pretty.

how about:

[name]Frances[/name] [name]Mae[/name] nn [name]Fritzi[/name]

I love [name]Molly[/name] and [name]Fritzi[/name]

I do like he sound of [name]Penelope[/name]. However daddy doesn’t like Greek names. The meanings are strange to him. [name]Penelope[/name] means “duck” in Greek. I love this. I would totally nickname her ducky :stuck_out_tongue:
We really like [name]Franny[/name], but cannot find a full name for it. We don’t like [name]Francesca[/name] or [name]Frances[/name].

What about:

maybe i am missing something, but why use such a great name like [name]Amelia[/name] [name]June[/name], and not call her by it? You could name your girls [name]Amelia[/name] [name]June[/name] and Molly____ [name]Molly[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name] are adorable, and can grow with the girls well.
You chose one beautiful name, you are going to do great

[name]Amelia[/name] [name]June[/name] is very pretty! When I looked it up on [name]Baby[/name], though, they said…

[name]Amelia[/name] meant - To Strive, To Excel or To Rival.

And [name]June[/name] meant - [name]Born[/name] in [name]June[/name]

On Nameberry the meaning says -

[name]Amelia[/name] - Energetic

[name]June[/name] - Latin month name

Of course [name]June[/name] will always mean a month, but I suppose the meaning of [name]Amelia[/name] varies. A third source, [name]Baby[/name] Names, says…

[name]Amelia[/name] - Germanic - Work, Effort, Strain
[name]Amelia[/name] - Hebrew - Work of the lord

I just though I’d let you know what I found. None of these meanings seem to be the same… Either way, [name]Amelia[/name] is very pretty! Some name’s with interesting meanings -

[name]Leela[/name], [name]Piper[/name], [name]Harper[/name] - To play (usualy a musical instrument)

[name]Chloe[/name], [name]Evanthe[/name] - Blooming, Verdant

[name]Phoebe[/name] - [name]Bright[/name]

Good luck!

The first name that popped into my head was [name]Eleanor[/name]. [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Eleanor[/name] sound adorable together! [name]Molly[/name] and [name]Nora[/name], or [name]Molly[/name] and [name]Ellie[/name]…both cute!

Oh I love the idea of [name]Phoebe[/name]! [name]Phoebe[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name] would be adorable

[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]May[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Joy[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Iris[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Louise[/name]
[name]Phoebe[/name] [name]Kate[/name]

Hmmm names with great meanings that “go” with [name]Amelia[/name] nn [name]Molly[/name]:

[name]Evangeline[/name]–Good news
[name]Honora[/name]–honor (maybe nn [name]Rory[/name]?)
[name]Mabel[/name]–loveable (nn [name]May[/name])

Oh I love the suggestion of [name]Pheobe[/name] [name]Mae[/name], [name]Pheobe[/name] [name]Kate[/name] and [name]Pheobe[/name] [name]Louise[/name] would be great with [name]Amelia[/name] [name]June[/name]!
