For [name_f]Melissa[/name_f], I love [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] sounds beautiful and creates a lovely set with [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I also adore [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] & [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f].
I couldn’t resist voting for [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_u]Laurel[/name_u] & [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], as I like the slightly matchy middle names.
I also love [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] but it just didn’t feel as unexpected as [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_u]Laurel[/name_u]. I would steer clear of [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] as it’s very [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] Eve-y sounding (Noel meaning [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] in french, so you’re basically naming her [name_f]Eve[/name_f] Christmas).
All of this said, I don’t think [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] is a great fit with [name_f]Eve[/name_f]. Have you considered [name_f]Eve[/name_f] & [name_f]Renee[/name_f] or [name_f]Eve[/name_f] & [name_u]Laurel[/name_u]?
I didnt even realize the xmas association with [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]! Thanks for pointing it out! If you don’t mind, may I ask why [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] and [name_f]Eve[/name_f] aren’t good together? No hard feelings, trust me. No need to sugarcoat what you think, I’m all ears to everyone’s opinions! Id appreciate your thoughts!
I feel like [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] is a name that was super popular in the 80s and the Melissa’s that I know are 25+ (think [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] McCarthy age range). I feel like [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is more trendy now, and all the Eve’s I know are like under 15. I do really like both names, I just feel like they’re set in different time periods. I sort of think it would be equivalent to having twins: [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] & [name_f]Lola[/name_f], [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] & [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_f]Carole[/name_f] & [name_u]Allison[/name_u].
What about [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] & [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]? I think changing [name_f]Eve[/name_f] to [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] dates it slightly further back (say 15-35 range?), and balancing the syllables / amount of letters makes them a better match.
That’s just my 2 cents, and at the end of the day, it’s most important to pick the names you LOVE. And keep in mind that while they’ll always be twins, as they grow up their lives won’t be nearly as intertwined as they are in the beginning so it won’t matter at all if their names go well together. It won’t always be [name_f]Eve[/name_f] & [name_f]Melissa[/name_f], once they’re older [name_f]Eve[/name_f] might be in university out of state while [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] travels [name_f]Asia[/name_f], and it won’t even be relevant in their friend groups that they are twins. I have friends where it was months before I even realized they had a twin, and I don’t even know their twins name.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourite on the list is [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_u]Laurel[/name_u]. Although [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] matches more, I couldn’t help but vote for [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] [name_f]Renee[/name_f], both are adorable!
Really?? Where Im from, [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] is more known, lively, and a spunky name while [name_f]Eve[/name_f] only used on elder women. I don’t know any young girls named [name_f]Eve[/name_f], but I also don’t know and older women named [name_f]Melissa[/name_f]! I really like [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and [name_f]Melissa[/name_f] together so I just need help with middles thank you!
