I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Adora[/name_f] or [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] and [name_f]Adora[/name_f] really work !

You persuaded me! [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] flow well as siblings

interesting!
thanks! i’ll keep that in mind

As a twin myself, I’m particularly against matchy-matchy twin names - with for eg the same starting letter and same ending (twins have a beautiful - but already intense, often zero-sum game feeling relationship so don’t need the added pressure of matching). If you really want the same starting letter, I wouldn’t do same ending sound as well.

With your names, I would choose:

[name_f]Adora[/name_f] & [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] & [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] (same letter but different sound, and different ending)

(I agree with PP that [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] doesn’t quite fit in terms of style - [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] is strongly 1980s-90s)

Some other possibilities:

[name_f]Adora[/name_f] & [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] & [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] / [name_f]Celestine[/name_f]
[name_f]Eudora[/name_f] & [name_f]Imogen[/name_f] (as an alternative)
[name_f]Celestine[/name_f] & [name_f]Sabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Adora[/name_f] & [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] & [name_f]Leonora[/name_f]
[name_f]Hazel[/name_f] & [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Adora[/name_f] & [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Freya[/name_f] & [name_f]Seraphine[/name_f]

So I love [name_f]Adora[/name_f] she’s beautiful but I’m not keen on [name_f]Amanda[/name_f]. [name_f]My[/name_f] immediate thought was [name_f]Anouk[/name_f] as a twin sister for [name_f]Adora[/name_f] or maybe [name_f]Astrid[/name_f].

So this leads the ever so beautiful [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Celestia[/name_f]! They are just a whimsy bright pair really beautiful.

Suggestions:

[name_f]Idalia[/name_f] + [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] + [name_f]Ramona[/name_f]
[name_f]Olivine[/name_f] + [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] + [name_f]Leonora[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f] + [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f] + [name_f]Pascale[/name_f]

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps

I like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Celestia[/name_f]. A good balance between distinct and matchy.

(I also like [name_f]Adora[/name_f] and Celestia)

You persuaded me! If the starting sound and ending sound are both the same, it is too repetitive
I adore [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], they are such a dreamy set!
I also feel like [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] could work as a vintage set

Very interesting to hear from the perspective of a twin! I’ve never met one in real life. [name_f]May[/name_f] I ask what is the name of your twin sister/brother?

[name_f]Astrid[/name_f] is a interesting one,
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it can work with [name_f]Esme[/name_f]? (Similar starting sound with different ending sound)

I think [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] + [name_f]Esme[/name_f] can work despite being a slight tongue twister!

[name_f]My[/name_f] twin is [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]. So not matchy, thankfully. But people still call us The Twins or The Twinnies (and used to compare our looks & “talents” as of they were fixed/innate and if one of us was good at something, the other couldn’t/ shouldn’t be). The psychology of being a twin is very interesting - at different times, one or both has found being a twin very comforting and fun, other times, too intense. It’s like a marriage from the womb but a super co-dependent one!

I agree with @EloiseT about avoiding matchy twin names. I’m not a twin myself, but I have twin daughters, and with the numbers of times a day you will say their names - it helps for them to be as distinctive as possible.

It’s also very helpful for their friends and teachers. [name_f]My[/name_f] girls are not identical but they do look very similar, but their friends always know which one is which. I think if they had matchy names it would be a lot harder for people to remember who is who.

So having said that, I like [name_f]Adora[/name_f] and [name_f]Celestia[/name_f]!

I love [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Celestia[/name_f]!

[name_f]My[/name_f] mother has a twin sister and I confirm - matchy names is not a very good choice (also no matching clothes for example. [name_f]My[/name_f] mother and my aunt said that they desperately wanted to feel like their own person but my grandmother thought it was sooo cute to buy them the same clothes all the time… And to give them names that come from the same name, [name_f]Catherine[/name_f], + really similar mn’s. )

I do think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Celestine[/name_f] are really pretty names  But ya, I’d switch it up. I think [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] and [name_f]Celestia[/name_f] is a better combo
