twins - boy and a girl

I need to decide very soon for names for a boy and a girl. I really like:

[name]Leo[/name] for a boy. I also like [name]Sam[/name].

For a girl I have always loved [name]Mia[/name] but I’m worried it is too popular. I am thinking maybe [name]Mia[/name]-[name]Rose[/name]. I also like [name]Alyssa[/name].

I think [name]Alyssa[/name] and [name]Leo[/name] make a great combo. I see you like short and sweet names for boys but would you consider using [name]Sam[/name] and [name]Leo[/name] as nicknames for [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Leonardo[/name] as I think that would be more appropriate for when they’re older. [name]Just[/name] my opinion though. Here are some other suggestions:

[name]Alyssa[/name] and [name]Leonardo[/name] nn [name]Leo[/name]
[name]Milla[/name] and [name]Samuel[/name] nn [name]Sam[/name]
[name]Delilah[/name] and [name]Finley[/name]
[name]Stella[/name] and [name]Wyatt[/name]
[name]Scarlett[/name] and [name]Levi[/name]
[name]Zoe[/name] and [name]Rhys[/name]

Is this the style of names you’re looking for? sorry if not… I’m very tired and running out of ideas:)

It is thanks - i like short names in general. I like your suggestion of [name]Milla[/name] and I like [name]Noah[/name] maybe. And [name]Anya[/name] for a girl. I am in the UK so not such a unsociable time here! thanks for your help.

Haha yeah it’s actually only ten thirty here too (NZ) but I’m unusually tired for some reason lol. I love [name]Noah[/name]! I see now the kind of short names you like and I’m impressed:) The difference between [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Sam[/name] for me is one is short for something and one is a proper name in its own right, which is what I prefer. I will list some more in this category but not pairing.

[name]Hope[/name] this is more on track:)

you are very good at this!! I really like [name]Ella[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] - but how do you pronounce that one? [name]Lil[/name]-a or Lie - La?! I love [name]Joe[/name] - [name]Joesph[/name] - but again really popular.

[name]Leo[/name] and [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] ([name]Sam[/name]) and [name]Anya[/name]
[name]Noah[/name] and [name]Lila[/name]
[name]Henry[/name] and [name]Sophie[/name]
[name]Felix[/name] and [name]Mila[/name]
[name]August[/name] and [name]Rose[/name]
[name]Roman[/name] and [name]Anya[/name]
[name]Oscar[/name] and [name]Nola[/name]
[name]Milo[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]
[name]Maxwell[/name] ([name]Max[/name]) and [name]Violet[/name] ([name]Vi[/name])
[name]Miles[/name] and [name]Nell[/name]
[name]Otto[/name] and [name]Cora[/name]
[name]Beau[/name] and [name]Lily[/name]

I say Lie Lah and a good boys name would be Joash.

[name]Love[/name] the suggestions above, eh how about…
[name]Amelia[/name] ([name]Mia[/name])

And for boys:
[name]Joel[/name] (instead of joseph, less popular)
[name]Zachary[/name]/ [name]Zac[/name]

I just love [name]Leo[/name], and think that [name]Samuel[/name] is so handsome. What about [name]Leo[/name] [name]Samuel[/name]?

With the classic [name]Leo[/name], I picture a similarly classic name. [name]Alyssa[/name] is very different in style from [name]Leo[/name] (in the U.S., [name]Alyssa[/name] is pretty trendy), but I do think it’s pretty).

My apologies for repeats:

[name]Amelia[/name] (nn [name]Mia[/name])
[name]Eliza[/name] (kind of close to [name]Alyssa[/name])
[name]Miranda[/name] ([name]Mia[/name] could be a potential nickname)
[name]Penelope[/name] (nn [name]Poppy[/name] or [name]Nell[/name])
[name]Rose[/name] (as a first name)

Best wishes to you!

my daughters name is lila (leela) thats how it is pronounced in spanish. its become very popular where i live in [name]California[/name] pronounced LIEla and in a recent parenting magazine it is predicted to be the next [name]AVA[/name]. I know many [name]Mia[/name]'s. Two of the girls are [name]Mia[/name] [name]Rose[/name]. If you choose [name]Mia[/name] i would pick a more unusual middle name. I like [name]Leo[/name] for a boys name.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Charlie[/name]'s suggestion of [name]Noah[/name]! [name]Love[/name] [name]Leo[/name] and [name]Sam[/name] as nn’s for
[name]Leo[/name] - [name]Leonard[/name], [name]Leonardo[/name], [name]Lionel[/name]
[name]Sam[/name] - [name]Samuel[/name] and [name]Samson[/name]

I don’t think that [name]Alyssa[/name] matches the style of [name]Leo[/name] and [name]Sam[/name], but it is a very pretty name.

What about
[name]Gwendolyn[/name] nn [name]Gwen[/name]
[name]Leona[/name], but not with [name]Leo[/name]
[name]Millicent[/name] nn [name]Millie[/name]
[name]Penelope[/name] nn [name]Nell[/name]
[name]Thandiwe[/name] nn [name]Thandie[/name]
[name]Winifred[/name] nn [name]Winnie[/name]

You could name your son a long form of [name]Leo[/name] such as [name]Lionel[/name] and your daughter [name]Samantha[/name] nn [name]Sam[/name]. You could name your son [name]Samson[/name] nn [name]Sam[/name] and your daughter [name]Leona[/name] or even [name]Leonora[/name] nn [name]Nora[/name].
I am not that familiar with the naming trends in Great [name]Britain[/name], so pardon me if I’m suggesting trite or overused or really strange names. I really only know what sounds good in [name]America[/name], in the somewhat cool suburbs.

Oops! I see you prefer shorter names with a more exotic feel:

[name]Leo[/name] and:

Good luck!
