[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone,
Currently expecting baby 4 and 5 (twins!) and we found out a couple of weeks ago that they are both girls! We really like [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Lou[/name_u]) and [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] (nn Waves) but are unsure if they are too whimsical and out there?
And no idea on middle names especially for [name_u]Waverly[/name_u]! We were thinking a one syllable middle name works best with [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] but any with [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is fine. So far the only name I’ve found which I don’t dislike to go with [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] is [name_f]Nell[/name_f].
They will be joining [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Miriam[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_m]Brodie[/name_m] [name_u]George[/name_u]
I honestly find them mismatched in style but if you love them there’s no reason to not use them.
I don’t think they’re too out there, they’re (especially [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]) are familiar names. I don’t find [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] whimsical, actually.
Hi, thank you for your comment. I see what you mean, i guess it’s how you see the name [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]! I like how they are different actually, they match but not too much if you see what I mean!
And I think [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is lovely as well as [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
I agree with this. However, if you really want these to be the names of your twins, I think it could work nicely for your family. I just think [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is much more classic and [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] is much more trendy. [name_u]Lou[/name_u] and Waves are cute nns though and really tie the names together more.
Louisa fits in perfectly with [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] & [name_m]Brodie[/name_m]. Personally I do not find [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] whimsical at all she seems rather classic.
Waverly (prefer [name_f]Waverley[/name_f] spelling wise) feels fashionable very vogue choice. I think [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] is a nice choice, not that whimsical names like [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] feel more whimsical and [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] works with [name_m]Brodie[/name_m]. But I think stylistically she doesn’t work [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] nor [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] or [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. However if you love [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] definitely go for it.
I find [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] more classic and [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] more trendy too but if you love them both there’s no reason not to use them together
First of all, congratulations!
I love [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] but [name_u]Waverly[/name_u], while also lovely and definitely not too out there, feels like a completely different style to me. I don’t think that’s very important though, and if you love them you should use them. One syllable middle name suggestions for [name_u]Waverly[/name_u]:
So exciting!!! I love [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and [name_u]Waverly[/name_u]! nn [name_u]Lou[/name_u] and Waves are so cute!
I think a few people have pointed this out but they do differ in popularity since [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is much more common. I don’t really agree with those saying they are mismatched in style. Both seem dreamy and whimsical, in a good way… a sort of Peter Pan kind of way
I don’t think they match. [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is quite traditional, whereas [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] is modern/funky.
How about
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u] and [name_f]Meadow[/name_f]
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u] and [name_u]Everly[/name_u]
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u] and [name_u]Sailor[/name_u]
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u] and [name_f]Clover[/name_f]
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
I think [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] is very cute, by the way.
I’m really not sure these two work together for twins, I would class [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] as very traditional and a classic name, but [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] I’d say is quite modern and untraditional in style. I wouldn’t worry about them being too out there though and don’t think either of them are what I’d describe as whimsical at all… They just seem at odds to me, but it doesn’t really matter what we think. If you like them go for it!
Ah thank you so much! I thought I might be the only one thinking that! Whilst [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is a classic name I think it has some whimsy to it. Also [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] is beautiful thank you!
Thank you so much! [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] is lovely, and [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] too. So many pretty names!
They seem fine. I love [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and like [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] fine. I think it’s fine to call a baby Waves, but I’ve never met a kid who’d like to be called Waves.
Louisa and [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] do not work for twins in my opinion. [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is classic and traditional while [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] is unique and modern. But if the huge style difference does not bother you, then I think that [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] and [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] are quite nice names.
