[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] are both in my short list, so I am as biased as I can be, but I do think they’re great together! [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is awesome too, but with [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] I slightly favour [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] ((plus it honors [name_f]Linda[/name_f], as you mentioned). Moreover, pearl and rose are [name_u]June[/name_u]'s birthstone and birth flower, respectively -perfect for your [name_u]June[/name_u] babies.
All of your choices are so lovely, it was difficult to choose!
I voted for [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f].
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] are stunning, both individually and together, plus, I like that they honour your mothers.
I thought that a pretty middle for [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] could be [name_f]Coral[/name_f]. That way, both girls would have something beautiful from the sea as a middle name.
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t be hard on yourself - it’s a hormonal time and even the most confident suffer pre-birth jitters and indecision!
The good news? You have some beautiful names. I love them all except [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - like it normally but not with [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], maybe [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] with [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. Also think [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] work well.
Having said that [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] are similar - both grand names, almost palendromic - great for twin rivalry (and I’m a twin, naming parity matters). [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] might go with [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], or another symbol like [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. Otherwise [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] (as above). You’d then prob need to change [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] though!
I know how hard it can be to name new humans, especially two at a time!
I voted for [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], but I have to say that I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is a wonderful name to pair with [name_f]Clara[/name_f]:
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
Both have a similar style/feel, have two syllables, and don’t lend themselves to a nickname.
I also think [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] go well together, and would be a good choice if you’re nickname lovers:
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
Arial[/name_u]]I voted for [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] but I’m not a fan of [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Clara[/name_f], I used to have a cat called [name_f]Clarabelle[/name_f].
What about…
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]?
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f]?
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]?
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]?
I like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] best as a twin set – the names are perfect together! But I would switch the mns to improve the flow: [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] & [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], and using [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] to honor your [name_f]MIL[/name_f] makes it such a perfect pairing! Worry less about middles and pick the first names you want, as that’s the name you’re going to use most often. I love my daughter’s first name, but not her middle. My husband really wanted to use this particular middle, and I went along with it to compromise. I probably think about it once a year at most.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] best as stand alone names? That’s the question to ask yourself, as those are the names you will be using every day.
I voted for [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] but I prefer [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. Best of luck!
I think it is always nice to use names that honor close family members. I love the idea of using [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] for middle names as they are the birth stone and flower of the month of [name_u]June[/name_u].
I’m suggesting something [name_m]NEW[/name_m] to consider…
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] OR
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
([name_f]Carole[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] are both derived from [name_m]Charles[/name_m], so there is a indirect connection without being the exact name)
If you are not fond of these ideas, I second the idea made by a previous poster of …
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
I know [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] does not honor [name_f]Linda[/name_f], but you cannot get two more classic names that work well together and will grow with the girls into adulthood. The versatility as far as nicknames is endless. If you do not want to honor one grandmother and not the other, you could go with [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
I voted for [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. I would also like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] & [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] if you like [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] (they feel a little more similar to me for some reason–similar girly vintage vibe whereas [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] feels more rustic). I like the idea of [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] as honor names too, just worry that [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is a lot more popular than [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. But I guess there are a lot of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] names so maybe [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] wouldn’t feel super unusual. I like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] but think it might be weird to have only one as an honor name. Good luck! Any of these choices will be great.
I dislike [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] but love [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] so I’m opting for the first pairing
However, I’m not overly fond of [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] because of the two R sounds so close together so I’d suggest maybe switching the middles for [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], or going for [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. This option seems really balanced to me
[name_f]Cara[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Clara[/name_f], first part of [name_f]Carolyn[/name_f]. [name_f]Cara[/name_f] [name_f]Linda[/name_f], [name_f]Liza[/name_f] Lynli (lyn from carolyn),[name_f]Mora[/name_f] and [name_f]Cara[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], [name_f]Zoey[/name_f], [name_f]Cala[/name_f] [name_f]Lilian[/name_f](cal-a,as in calla lily; not kay-la.), [name_f]Lora[/name_f] [name_u]Lyn[/name_u], [name_f]Belinda[/name_f], [name_f]Bonita[/name_f] both names mean pretty or beautiful like linda. [name_f]Hana[/name_f] and [name_f]Cara[/name_f]., [name_f]Jillian[/name_f], [name_f]Juliett[/name_f],[name_f]Mercedes[/name_f] and Geneveive, [name_f]Laci[/name_f], Jolinda [name_u]Clare[/name_u], [name_f]Jazzlyn[/name_f] [name_f]Carol[/name_f], [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] or [name_f]Jeneva[/name_f], Jarolyn and Jolinda, Lindlie, Lynlie, [name_f]Vala[/name_f] val-a not vay-la)[name_f]Brianna[/name_f] ( means strong like carolyn),[name_f]Cara[/name_f] Lindley,[name_f]Gena[/name_f], [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], Jasmena, Valentena and [name_f]Carolena[/name_f], [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f], [name_f]Caci[/name_f], [name_f]Julietta[/name_f], [name_f]Jewel[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], Gionna, Ginaliese(jeen-a-leece), Coral (carol in it),Pearl and Coral(ocean theme, nice for twins),Cleo
I love [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] together, but I feel like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a little tough to say with the rs so close together. I would prefer [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] or better yet, [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but that may mess up your initials.
I like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] but prefer [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] as they are more distinctive. For middles, how about [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]?
