I second the suggestion of [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].
That way you are using each grandmother’s first initial to name a girl and not the name itself. This is a subtle way, but still a nice gesture.
Other suggestions…
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Lidia[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Lila[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucia[/name_f]
[name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and [name_f]Lisabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Lisabeth[/name_f]
Really, you can go through all the C and L names and see what you come up with, but I love [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as middle names.
I voted for [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].
I was inspired by [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] from your list for [name_u]Jean[/name_u] or [name_f]Jane[/name_f] or [name_f]Eva[/name_f] or [name_f]Eve[/name_f] for middles.
Also since [name_f]Linda[/name_f] means beauty, you could use [name_f]Belle[/name_f] as a middle to honor her.
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f].
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f].
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f].
As another poster mentioned, I really like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] together. They are equally classic and romantic and I think that similarity cancels out any differences in length. I’d probably use [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] with [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], however, and pick another middle for [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. You could do [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], that way each girl with have a short and a long name.
I love [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f], similar feel with syllable repetition and the gem middle. I also just love the name [name_f]Jade[/name_f]!
I voted for [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] as I like those first names best and together. I think swapping the middles would work better though - [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. The 'r’s run into each other with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
I also really like [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], as well as pairing [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] with either [name_f]Clara[/name_f] or [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].
Thank you so much for all the ideas and recommendations!! Wow I’m surprised to see [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] so far in the lead and great to have the feedback. My husband is still so attached to [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] so we’ll see. Although, they may not have names coming home from the hospital!!
If I could, I would have voted for [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. Now that’s a gorgeous set that still gets Dad his favorite!
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. So classy. I like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], but not so keen on [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. Maybe [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], or [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]? Good luck!
I love the name [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] for one of your future twins. I would suggest pairing it with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], instead of [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. The two names each have nine letters. You can use [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] as a nickname, or she will have a host of other possible nickname choices as she grows through the stages of her life.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] _____ got my vote, but I would’ve loved to see [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are great together. I like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] okay, but [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] more, and I like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] better with [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] than [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] or the [name_f]Rosie[/name_f] names (although I do love [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], don’t get me wrong!).
The more I think on it, though, the more I do like [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], so if [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] was an option, that’d be my top pick, followed by [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], then [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]/[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]. They’re all really great options–it’s hard to pick!
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] are by far my favorites! I love the pairing of [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] with [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] for some reason i can’t place my finger on. Plus, [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] are both associated with the month of [name_u]June[/name_u], so they’re perfect!
The only reason I’m not a fan of [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is because of that book [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] Have I Loved (a story about a girl who loathes her twin sister [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] for always overshadowing her and playing the victim.) If you do go with it, though, I think [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] would be lovely paired with it.
