[name_m]Hi[/name_m] guys,
We are ttc again and there is chance it might be twins again.
If it were girl/girl twins again one of them would have to be called [name_f]Frida[/name_f] unless I really put foot down as is OH has wanted it since daughter number 1.
Which of these names goes best with [name_f]Frida[/name_f]?
We already have a [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] (twins) and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f].
The last baby [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] was supposed to be [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] but it didn’t suit her - so she does have [name_f]Rose[/name_f] as her second middle but think I would still consider using [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] as a first name for a new baby.
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] would either be nn [name_f]Greta[/name_f] or [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] or even [name_f]Peggy[/name_f].
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] & [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] & [name_f]Maud/name_f
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] & [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] nn [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] or nn [name_f]Greta[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] & [name_f]Thomasina[/name_f] nn [name_f]Posy[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] & [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] & [name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] & [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]
Wow, two sets of twins, congratulations! I have twin girls myself I really love [name_f]Frida[/name_f], it’s quirky, artistic, international, I think you have a great balance with your children’s names. Suggestions:
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Coralie[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Willow[/name_f]

[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
Sorry, from your list I love [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] as [name_f]Frida[/name_f]‘s twin because she’s a very versatile name. I particularly [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the prospect of [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] as a nickname, it’s very unique nowadays and really stands out. Also reminds me of [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] [name_u]Lee[/name_u], swoon! Second option would be [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], because I think it bridges the style of all of your kids’ names and because it’s very sweet and happy-sounding. Very colorful and positive vibes, like [name_f]Frida[/name_f].
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Greta[/name_f] go well
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Annalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] “[name_f]Trixie[/name_f]”, “[name_f]Bea[/name_f]”
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Cassia[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Calla[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Delta[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] “[name_f]Evie[/name_f]”
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] “[name_f]Hattie[/name_f]”
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] “[name_f]Sadie[/name_f]”
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Junia[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilith[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Penelope[/name_f] “[name_f]Nellie[/name_f]”
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Saskia[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f]
My favourites on your list with [name_f]Frida[/name_f] are [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] and [name_f]Maude[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Thomasin[/name_f] nn [name_f]Posy[/name_f] - I think my overall favourite, however I’m not sure it’s the best match with [name_f]Frida[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Greta[/name_f] would be a great choice, but I’m not keen on [name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] as one name is used as the full name and one as the short form. Nothing wrong with doing it, it’s just that I love the symmetry of having either both as long/short forms, or both as full names.
I know, right? Twins! Nooooo! Mostly I hope its not twins again except for the naming part. Carrying twins is no picnic and that’s just the start! Apparently once you have them chances go up by 12%. Didn’t happen with [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] but you never know. Also naming twins will be easier than choosing one last final ever name as this will definitely be the last baby/Babies. If it’s one baby I have to get [name_f]Frida[/name_f] and probably [name_f]Maud[/name_f] in as honour names but then on it goes and before you know it the last baby has 25 names!
From your list I like:
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] was nearly [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] - is a family name and combo I’ve played with before
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] - loving [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] at the moment but OH says is sinister
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] love [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] [name_u]Love[/name_u] this too and [name_f]Ginny[/name_f], my mother is from VA so also honours the American half of my family
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] I like this very much but actually a bit dated already in [name_m]Britain[/name_m]
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]
love [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] but friend has a [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], although we do not live so near each other any more and it is creeping back onto my list.
I agree with you in all counts I think, [name_f]Thomasina[/name_f] nn [name_f]Posy[/name_f] is my favourite stand alone name apart from [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and it also means twin. I regret not discovering it earlier because if we have one baby and not twins I don’t think I could use it. It would seem stupid to have twins and then a singleton whose name meant twin.
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] keeps open the most options. I have also considered [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] ([name_f]Peggy[/name_f]/[name_f]Greta[/name_f]/[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and on and on) & [name_f]Frederica[/name_f] ([name_f]Frieda[/name_f]/[name_f]Frida[/name_f] - OH’s great-granny was actually a [name_f]Frieda[/name_f] but it makes me think of fried eggs).
If we ever used [name_f]Frida[/name_f] as first name would probably use nn [name_f]Minnie[/name_f] as when I was pregnant with the twins my OH tried to bribe me to let him name twins [name_f]Leonora[/name_f] & [name_f]Frida[/name_f] and he’d promised to buy me a mini car. Now whenever we see minis we say “Oh look there’s a [name_f]Frida[/name_f]”.
Thanks for your suggestions, may beautiful names, I really like [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] and [name_f]Bonnie[/name_f] but for various reasons can’t use either
Thanks, if it were one baby would probably be [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and I would try and pretend [name_f]Frida[/name_f]-[name_f]Maud[/name_f] was a legitimate name so I could squeeze them all in! I love [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] too. I also love [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and have wanted to name each daughter [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and has been vetoed by OH but at the same time I have vetoed [name_f]Frida[/name_f] so twins would be ideal last chance for each of us to use the name we love. [name_f]Maud[/name_f] was my Great Granny. She was a terrifying fierce old lady who had six sons and looked like a gypsy. [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is like sunshine and is name of dear old family friend as is [name_f]Greta[/name_f].
