Twins! I need HELP!

I am expecting twins, they are fraternal (boy/girl). I have a three year old daughter named [name]Abigail[/name] [name]Gracelyn[/name] (nn [name]Abby[/name]). I’m looking suggestions - nothing too trendy or “unique”. I am fond of girls names like [name]Olivia[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Alexis[/name] (nn [name]Lexi[/name]), [name]Madeline[/name], [name]Kate[/name], [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Isabel[/name]. Boys names that have been agreed on are [name]Ryan[/name], [name]Chase[/name], [name]Cain[/name], [name]Noah[/name], [name]Aidan[/name], and [name]Colin[/name]. I am open to new suggestions as well.

Congratulations! [name]Abigail[/name] nn [name]Abby[/name] is so sweet!

[name]Olivia[/name]- [name]Olivia[/name] is so pretty but so popular too. I love the nn [name]Liv[/name] or [name]Livvy[/name]!

[name]Charlotte[/name]- I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]! Be careful though: it’s on the road to tremendous popularity.

[name]Alexis[/name]- It’s not my favorite. I prefer [name]Alexandra[/name], though I’m not a fan of siblings’ names starting with the same letter.

[name]Madeline[/name]- It’s cute. I prefer the French, [name]Madeleine[/name] (mad-uh-layne)

[name]Kate[/name]- I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Kate[/name]! So sweet! However, to better match [name]Abby[/name], I would use [name]Katharine[/name] nn [name]Kate[/name].

[name]Julia[/name]- It’s pretty but popular. I prefer [name]Juliet[/name] immensely for.

[name]Isabel[/name]- I think [name]Isabel[/name] is wonderful but it’s growing popular steadily. [name]Isabella[/name] is number 2 on the list…

[name]Ryan[/name]- It’s okay…

[name]Chase[/name]- I like [name]Chase[/name]!

[name]Cain[/name]- I really don’t like [name]Cain[/name]. It reminds me of the word ‘cane’ and old men

[name]Noah[/name]- It’s popular but I love it!

[name]Aidan[/name]- I’m afraid [name]Aidan[/name] is very trendy. I love other Irish boys names though…

[name]Colin[/name]- I love [name]Colin[/name]! So handsome!

My favorites sets for twins are:
[name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Noah[/name]
[name]Kate[/name] and [name]Noah[/name]
[name]Olivia[/name] and [name]Colin[/name]
[name]Julia[/name] and [name]Chase[/name]

Hey, congrats on the twins!

I like all your girl names except [name]Alexis[/name], and I don’t like siblings starting with the same letter, so this is out for me. I also prefer [name]Madeleine[/name], as [name]Lili[/name] above, it’s so much prettier. I’m not sure if popularilty bothers you but all the girls names you picked are either very or quite popular.

For boys, I really like [name]Noah[/name]. [name]Ryan[/name], [name]Aidan[/name], [name]Colin[/name] and [name]Cain[/name] are okay.

Any of the girls names would work with [name]Noah[/name] (my favourite for the boy) but I especially like [name]Kate[/name] & [name]Noah[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name] & [name]Noah[/name], [name]Isabel[/name] & [name]Noah[/name]. For a twin with [name]Colin[/name], I like [name]Julia[/name], [name]Olivia[/name] and [name]Isabel[/name].

For a girl with [name]Abigail[/name] [name]Gracelyn[/name], I would suggest [name]Sarah[/name] - hands-down. [name]Both[/name] are Hebrew names with great meanings, and they each have a comfortable, Colonial feel, too! Something like [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Madelyn[/name] or [name]Sarah[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] would be very pretty!

I think [name]Isaac[/name] or [name]Jacob[/name] would be great for [name]Sarah[/name]'s twin, or [name]Joseph[/name] “[name]Joey[/name].”

I like [name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Ryan[/name] with big sister [name]Abigail[/name].

Good luck!

[name]Abigail[/name], [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Colin[/name] is my favorite set.
[name]Abigail[/name], [name]Isabel[/name] and [name]Colin[/name] comes close second.
What about [name]Nathan[/name] for a boy?
[name]Abigail[/name], [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Nathan[/name] would be gorgeous, [name]IMO[/name].

I love most of your girls names, especially [name]Julia[/name], [name]Charlotte[/name], and [name]Isabel[/name]. If you don’t want trendy, don’t use [name]Alexis[/name]! It’s extremely dated, and is originally a boy’s name. [name]Kate[/name] seems nicknamey, especially with [name]Abigail[/name], so I would use [name]Katherine[/name] or [name]Katarina[/name] as a real name. Of your boy’s names, I like [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Colin[/name]. [name]Ryan[/name] and [name]Aidan[/name] are extremely popular, [name]Chase[/name] is trendy, and [name]Cain[/name] is awful. Here are some twinsets that work, using names on your list as well as others:

[name]Julia[/name] and [name]Colin[/name]
[name]Julia[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Julia[/name] and [name]William[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Sebastian[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Noah[/name]
[name]Charlotte[/name] and [name]Henry[/name]
[name]Madeleine[/name] and [name]Noah[/name]
[name]Madeleine[/name] and [name]Charles[/name]
[name]Madeleine[/name] and [name]Peter[/name]
[name]Isabel[/name] and [name]Aidan[/name]
[name]Isabel[/name] and [name]Ryan[/name]
[name]Isabel[/name] and [name]Theodore[/name]

ooh, I missed [name]Colin[/name] on your list. I change my vote to [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Colin[/name] with big sister [name]Abigail[/name]!

[name]Abigail[/name] [name]Gracelyn[/name] is such a pretty name! The name [name]Abigail[/name] makes me think of Colonial [name]America[/name], so I am going to try to make Colonial American Name Lists.

[name]Caroline[/name] - I’m not sure if this is a Pilgrim name or not.
I want to put [name]Tabitha[/name], but [name]Tibby[/name] and [name]Abby[/name] are so similar.

thanks for the help guys!
I like the suggestion of nathan! we will definitely take that into consideration. I like [name]Juliet[/name] as well…and [name]Katherina[/name] nn [name]Kate[/name] is a great idea.
oliver and olivia…not so much…that reminds me of twin names like “stacy and tracy” and seems a tad silly to me.

your advice has been great! thank-you

ohh caroline! i love that name! beautiful

[name]Olivia[/name] - I think [name]Olivia[/name] is such a cute name even though it is very popular. It’s not too long, and it’s very feminine and adorable! I love the nickname Livi = <3

[name]Charlotte[/name] - I love this name even if, again, it is becoming so popular but that seems to be what your into :stuck_out_tongue: There’s something classy, strong, yet feminine about it. I really do like it. I also really like the nickname [name]Charley[/name] for a girl [:

[name]Alexis[/name] - I absolutely love the name [name]Alexis[/name]. I always wanted to name my daughter [name]Alexis[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and I still do! Lol. I just think [name]Alexis[/name] is a short, sweet, simple, girly name. What could be better right? I also love love love the nn [name]Lexi[/name] !

[name]Madeline[/name] - [name]Madeline[/name] is alright, i don’t love it but I don’t hate it. I’d much more prefer [name]Madison[/name] over [name]Madeline[/name] but that’s just my opinion :stuck_out_tongue: Although, i love the nn [name]Maddie[/name]. It’s really cute.

[name]Kate[/name] - It’s cute. It’s a bit dull and plain. I’d much more prefer [name]Kaitlyn[/name] with [name]Kate[/name] as a nickname. That way she has a more classier look to her name than just plain [name]Kate[/name]. It’s not bad though.

[name]Julia[/name] - I love [name]Julia[/name]! I love [name]Juliana[/name] even more, but [name]Julia[/name] is really cute! It use to be so popular, but i don’t hear of that many people using this name anymore. I just think that [name]Julia[/name] is very simple, elegant, classy, and sounds intelligent.

[name]Isabel[/name] - I don’t like [name]Isabel[/name] or [name]Isabella[/name] because I know too many people with their kids named this. It’s not that it’s a bad name, but i just know too many [name]Isabelle[/name]/Isabellas to put it into words. [name]Isabel[/name] is cute, but SO popular.

[name]Ryan[/name] - This name was so popular at one point, and then people stopped using it all of a sudden. So now it’s sort of like old news. It’s not ugly it’s just kinda plain, and dull. Thats just my opinion though. If you like it, then go for it !

[name]Chase[/name] - I’ve always really liked this name. Nobody really uses it nowadays, so it’s not that popular and it’s just really cute. There’s really nothing to dislike about this name - it’s adorable. End of story.

[name]Cain[/name] - It’s a little weird. Not really my style. Although I really do like [name]Cade[/name] and [name]Cale[/name], i don’t like [name]Cain[/name]. Sorry [:

[name]Noah[/name] - Such a cute name, despite the popularity.

[name]Aidan[/name] - I don’t like it. TOO popular for me. I like [name]Hayden[/name] though.

[name]Colin[/name] - This reminds me of an old man, a bald one :stuck_out_tongue:

I think [name]Abigail[/name], [name]Julia[/name], and [name]Chase[/name] is my favorite set out of your names.
They sound really cute together - [name]Abby[/name] [name]Julia[/name] & [name]Chase[/name]!
