I would immediately eliminate [name]Liberty[/name] (unless you are a die-hard patriot and want everyone to know it, [name]Lincoln[/name] = [name]Abraham[/name] [name]Lincoln[/name] and [name]Liberty[/name] is obviously freedom) and Locklin (sounds waaaay too much like [name]Lincoln[/name], same starting & ending sounds, with a K in the middle).
That leaves [name]London[/name], [name]Leighton[/name] and [name]Larissa[/name].
[name]London[/name] & [name]Leighton[/name] also sound very, very close to [name]Lincoln[/name]. They’re also quite trendy.
[name]Larissa[/name], on the other hand, is beautiful. It’s not at all common-- quite refreshing-- and it’s a gorgeous Russian name actually related to [name]Hillary[/name], meaning ‘cheerful, mirthful.’ The R and S sounds are distinctive from [name]Lincoln[/name], and the -A ending also helps separate the two.
I really like twins named [name]Lincoln[/name] & [name]Larissa[/name]. They share the L connection, and both are mature, interesting names, but they aren’t overly matchy.
Of your choices I prefer [name]Lincoln[/name] and [name]Larissa[/name]. [name]Lincoln[/name] is a strong name. I think [name]Larissa[/name] is very beautiful and will fit nicely with your boys name. From the rest of your choices the only other ones that I like are [name]Leighton[/name] or [name]Liberty[/name]. I like [name]Leighton[/name] as it is pretty. [name]Liberty[/name] is very cute, I am fond of it. However, I do not like [name]Locklyn[/name] or [name]London[/name]. [name]Locklyn[/name] sounds like a boy’s name to me and [name]London[/name] is very trendy right now.
[name]Lincoln[/name] and [name]Larissa[/name], definitely. [name]Locklyn[/name] is too similar to [name]Lincoln[/name], [name]Liberty[/name] and [name]Lincoln[/name] is honestly kind of corny, [name]Leighton[/name] and [name]London[/name] are too matchy with [name]Lincoln[/name], whereas [name]Larissa[/name] is beautiful and distinct.
I used to be in love with [name]Locklyn[/name], so, naturally, I picked it. But now that I think about it, its too close. I do love the sound of [name]Linc[/name] and [name]Libby[/name] ([name]Liberty[/name]), though.
I chose [name]Liberty[/name]. Perhaps it’s because I’m not American so I don’t find it corny/too much but I like the historical connection. I prefer the sound of [name]Larissa[/name] though, with its exotic Russian glamour. [name]Locklyn[/name], [name]Leighton[/name] and [name]London[/name] are too matchy with the same beginning AND ending sounds as [name]Lincoln[/name].
