Both work very nicely, but I personally prefer [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] with [name_f]Mary[/name_f]: both are simple and classic, while [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] is rather more imperious. I adore the nn [name_f]Annie[/name_f] with [name_f]Mary[/name_f] “[name_f]May[/name_f]”, though.
I definitely prefer [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] with [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. Both feel down-to-earth, simple, and vintage. I think [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], while lovely, is a bit too long and frilly with [name_f]Mary[/name_f].
I love the name [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]! Nickname [name_f]Annie[/name_f] so cute and fresh!
[name_f]Mary[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]! I love that they sound like storybook twins.
Definitely lovely vintage [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]! [name_f]Mary[/name_f] and [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] / [name_f]May[/name_f] and [name_u]Lou[/name_u] would be adorable.
I prefer [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]. But only because I don’t like when parents choose nicknames.
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] has more of an old-timey vibe that fits [name_f]Mary[/name_f] nn [name_f]May[/name_f], plus it’s softer than [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f].
