Twins Names

Everyone has made it very clear that [name]Addison[/name] and [name]Anniston[/name] are terrible names! So this is what we have left for our twins. We still do not know the genders and we would like to have two girl and two boys names prepared for when we find out the genders. LN is VERY Italian, starts with a D and is 4 syllables.

[name]Aurora[/name]
[name]Cambria[/name]
[name]Sophia[/name]
[name]Natalia[/name]
[name]Lucia[/name]
[name]Antonia[/name]
[name]Juliana[/name]
[name]Amaya[/name]
[name]Alana[/name]
[name]Elena[/name]

If I could only choose two names, I would choose [name]Natalia[/name] and [name]Lucia[/name]. Good luck!

I like pretty much all of these alright, but I would actually consider [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Lucia[/name], and they are both on my revision list.

Aww I am so sorry you are having such a hard time. Not everyone here is very respectful of different naming styles.

I like [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Cambria[/name] the best for you and I think they would make adorable twins! I also really like the idea of [name]Alana[/name] and [name]Amaya[/name] They still have the cute matching twin feel that you are looking for but are not as similar

I know you seem to like a bot of the matchy style so I’d go with [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Amaya[/name] so you get the A-A similarity but without them being so close that you’d mix them up. I also think both are so beautiful!

I think though that with twins it’s often a good idea to just really think about your top two favorite names instead of centering on the fact that their twins. It can help to see them as individuals - which they often are thankful for as they grow up.

Good luck!

My vote would be [name]Cambria[/name] and [name]Lucia[/name]. I felt they had the nicest, easiest flow, especially with a long last name. My initial thought when I read your other thread was [name]Cambria[/name] and [name]Adelaide[/name]. [name]Just[/name] a thought.

My opinions:
[name]Aurora[/name]-Very sweet, reminds me of the Disney princess and I love the [name]Rory[/name] nn potential!!
[name]Cambria[/name]-Not a personal fave, but has [name]Bria[/name] as a nn potential!
[name]Sophia[/name]- Too popular for my taste, obviously has [name]Sophie[/name] or [name]Sophi[/name] as nickname potential.
[name]Natalia[/name]- Like it, but I prefer [name]Natalie[/name].
[name]Lucia[/name]- Nah, sounds too much like “[name]Lucy[/name]/[name]Luci[/name]” & that’s too popular…
[name]Antonia[/name]- [name]Love[/name] the book My [name]Antonia[/name], great refrence and its a love novel, so its got a postive appeal.
[name]Juliana[/name]- Pretty take on the name [name]Julie[/name] or [name]Julia[/name].
[name]Amaya[/name]- I prefer just [name]Maya[/name], and think [name]Maya[/name] is gorgeous!
[name]Alana[/name]- Too common for my taste.
[name]Elena[/name]- Same as [name]Alana[/name].

[name]Cambria[/name] and [name]Lucia[/name], for sure! [name]Love[/name] them both:)

My favorites are [name]Juliana[/name] and [name]Lucia[/name]! They’d be great for twins because they’re very individual, but the do share the long u sound and sound nice together. Also if you want to go matchy you could call them [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Julie[/name] ([name]Luci[/name] and [name]Juli[/name]) for short? I also really like [name]Elena[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name]. Good luck!

I have a [name]Lucia[/name] and have seriously considered [name]Elena[/name] as a sister to her if we have a girl in the future, so I like [name]Lucia[/name] and [name]Elena[/name].

I also love the suggestion above of [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Cambria[/name] with the nicknames [name]Rory[/name] and [name]Bria[/name]. Very cute.

I like [name]Cambria[/name] and [name]Natalia[/name]. I like that they are both somwhat simple, but definitely not boring, and they’re both sort of twists on American names- [name]Cambria[/name] is similar [name]Cameron[/name] and [name]Natalia[/name] is very close to [name]Natalie[/name]. That makes them a little different but still familiar.

Congratulations on your twins!

While [name]Addison[/name] and [name]Anniston[/name] aren’t my style, I don’t really think you should give up a name because it doesn’t fit into the majority of the Berries’ style, either. Sure, it’s not like [name]Clara[/name], [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]August[/name], or whatever else a lot of Berries love, but there’s nothing wrong with having a style that’s not exactly like anyone else’s. I do think that they were too close for twins (for crying out loud, I got [name]Becca[/name], [name]Natalie[/name], [name]Johnny[/name], [name]Karen[/name], etc., and [name]Ashley[/name] sounds like none of those, and I wasn’t even a twin to any of them!), but I don’t think that means you have to give them both up, really.

But from this list, I absolutely love [name]Aurora[/name], [name]Lucia[/name], [name]Amaya[/name], [name]Sophia[/name], and [name]Elena[/name]! I think [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Elena[/name], [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name], [name]Elena[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name], [name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Amaya[/name], or [name]Amaya[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name] would be stunning for twins.

Good luck!

My favorites are [name]Natalia[/name] and [name]Juliana[/name]. These would make great names for twins! As a twin myself, I like it that these name are not matchy and the girls would have their own initials. The name are distinctive, yet similar in that (1) they both end in a, (2) both have the same feminine style, and (3) each name has the same number of syllables and letters.

I really like [name]Sophia[/name] & [name]Elena[/name], but I do think that the names [name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Elena[/name] flow SO well together!!
I am a nanny for 11-wk-old twin girls, & their names are [name]Alaina[/name] (pr. [name]Ah[/name]-[name]Lane[/name]-Uh) & [name]Leah[/name].
[name]Alaina[/name]'s main nn is ‘[name]Lainey[/name]’ and I love it!
If you wanted to stick with 2 ‘A’ names, then I think [name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Alaina[/name] would be gorgeous together, personally.
Best!,
[name]Leslie[/name]

[name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Amaya[/name]
[name]Elena[/name] & [name]Lucia[/name]
[name]Sophia[/name] & [name]Alana[/name]

I agree with [name]Ash[/name]: [name]Addison[/name] and [name]Anniston[/name] are NMS, but if they are yours then you should use them.
Your suggested names are all delightful- especially with an Italian LN. [name]Cambria[/name] is probably the only one I am not as keen on as it sounds less known as the other names.
If I were picking I would go [name]Elena[/name] [name]Addison[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Anniston[/name] thereby keeping your original favourites.

I love [name]Lucia[/name] and [name]Elena[/name] as a sibset. If you want to go matching letters, I’d say [name]Antonia[/name] and [name]Amaya[/name] would be the best combo. I find [name]Aurora[/name] too difficult to say, it tends to come out like aworwa, and I can see a kid struggling to say their name with that one. I don’t like [name]Juliana[/name] or [name]Natalia[/name], and [name]Cambria[/name] feels too much like a place name (Cumbria, UK) for me.

What beautiful names to choose from! My favourite twin pairings are:

  1. [name]Lucia[/name] & [name]Natalia[/name]
  2. [name]Juliana[/name] & [name]Natalia[/name]
  3. [name]Lucia[/name] & [name]Elena[/name]
  4. [name]Elena[/name] & [name]Sophia[/name]
  5. [name]Juliana[/name] & [name]Sophia[/name]
  6. [name]Alana[/name] & [name]Lucia[/name]
  7. [name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Natalia[/name]
  8. [name]Antonia[/name] & [name]Juliana[/name]
  9. [name]Amaya[/name] & [name]Elena[/name]
  10. [name]Aurora[/name] & [name]Lucia[/name]

The only one I really don’t like is [name]Cambria[/name], and my faves of the bunch are [name]Lucia[/name], [name]Natalia[/name], [name]Juliana[/name], [name]Elena[/name], [name]Sophia[/name] & [name]Alana[/name].

Good luck

[name]Aurora[/name] and [name]Elena[/name] or [name]Elena[/name] and [name]Sophia[/name] get my vote:)

[name]Cambria[/name] and [name]Natalia[/name] would be my picks, but I actually liked them all!
