Twins? Winning? Twinning!

Hey guys! This is [name]Emma[/name] and [name]Zachary[/name] ([name]Zach[/name]) [name]Klaus[/name].

We are in our mid twenties and expecting our second and third child. We also have a daughter who is three. Her name is [name]Noah[/name] [name]June[/name]. We call her JuneBug. She’s very explorative and she is fluent in 3 languages. She speaks English (we live in [name]America[/name]), her daddy speaks to her in only [name]German[/name] and I speak to her in French only. (or at least we try to do this). It’s a very, very, very tough job not to “break character” and speak to her in English. So far we are doing very well.

Anyways, that was some background info on our family. We are looking for twin names. We are keeping the genders of our new babies a secret to you all and ourselves. [name]Zach[/name] (hubby) thinks that his little “troops” are going to bring in the boys he’s been dreaming of. So we want to see if he is oh so right, or oh so wrong. [name]Both[/name] [name]Zach[/name] and I will be monitoring what you all say.

AS FAR AS NAMES GO: We would like maybe French or [name]German[/name] names? If not that, something that just has a great flow to it. ANYTHING GOES! Help us please? I’m due in a couple of months! Thanks you all!

[name]Zach[/name], [name]Emma[/name] and [name]Noah[/name] (JuneBug!)

Oh my! You two sound adorable and congrats on already having an intelligent little [name]Noah[/name]! She sounds like a dream. Maybe you all could do names and then the French/[name]German[/name] variations?

[name]Emily[/name] = [name]Amalie[/name] (French Variation) Those kinds of names. [name]Do[/name] you guys have any favorites yet? Are you into the twins having names starting with the same letters? I need some hints to get started with!!

However, if you’re looking for some names that go great with [name]Noah[/name]'s:

[name]Samuel[/name]
[name]Michael[/name]

So, you have two children already. What’s your other child name? It’s easier to choose names if we know all your children’s names.

Is your husband from Germany? Because [name]Zachary[/name] is quite a strange name for a [name]German[/name]. What an interesting choices his parents have made!

Congratulations on having an intelligent daughter. [name]Do[/name] you prefer male names for daughters? Knowing your overall style will really help us to help you choose future names.

[name]Do[/name] you want to honor anyone in your family? [name]Do[/name] you like gender-bender names?

My apologies! I just fixed my mistake. Sorry, English isn’t my first language. I meant 2nd and 3rd child. I love Gender-Bender names. My mother’s name is [name]Maria[/name] [name]Frances[/name] and [name]Zach[/name]'s father’s name is [name]Felix[/name] [name]George[/name]. We do so love the names [name]Maria[/name] and [name]Felix[/name]. We aren’t sure about using them though.

Gender bender names are so interesting! Like our little [name]Noah[/name], she loves her name. She makes up songs about it, such a silly girl

Wow, these are all great names. [name]Zach[/name] loves all of the boy choices. I’m rally into [name]Milo[/name], [name]Kellen[/name], and [name]Olivier[/name]!
The girl ones [name]Zach[/name] and I both love all the girl names. [name]Ah[/name]! I’m trying to find a name I don’t love to narrow it down but it’s so hard! Haha.

[name]Loic[/name] et [name]Anais[/name]…
[name]Anais[/name] et Noelie
[name]Loic[/name] et [name]Mathis[/name]
 [name]Marie[/name] and [name]Felix[/name] are definitely usable, but [name]Marie[/name] seems a bit too common. [name]Felix[/name] is super cute:)

I really like Felix & Beatrice together for boy/girl twins since they both have the same meaning

[name]Just[/name] curious. [name]Maria[/name] [name]Frances[/name] is quite an odd name for a French woman, and [name]George[/name] is very strange for a [name]German[/name] (as is [name]Zachary[/name], as irmgard pointed out).

[name]Noah[/name] and [name]June[/name] are neither French nor [name]German[/name]. [name]How[/name] did you settle on her name?

You’re very lucky to have such an intelligent little girl. Fluent in 3 languages? Wow, my son isn’t even fluent in English and he’s the same age as your JuneBug!

Since you like gender bender names, how about:

[name]Bentley[/name] and [name]Hadley[/name]
[name]Carter[/name] and [name]London[/name]
[name]Quinn[/name] and [name]Kenley[/name]

That’s one thing we love about our families. They’re not really with the tradition. [name]Zachary[/name]'s parents are very religious and the name is brought on by references in the bible. I’m not sure about his middle name however. My mother’s mother (Grandmother) loved the teachings of [name]Maria[/name] Montessori. You may look her up if you’d like, thus bringing the name [name]Maria[/name]. [name]Frances[/name] is the name my grandmother chose for I don’t really know what reason. I’m eager to ask now.

As for our little [name]Noah[/name]! [name]Zach[/name] really wanted to pick a biblical name for her. I wasn’t apposed, nothing just really struck me. However I was looking through a list of them. It was between [name]Ezra[/name], [name]Mary[/name], and [name]Noah[/name]. [name]Noah[/name] and [name]Ezra[/name] were both so off beat. But when she was born, she was so gentle and welcoming to different family members to hold her. [name]Noah[/name] has a far more gentle and quieter tone. We chose [name]Noah[/name]. Then [name]June[/name], that’s the month I met [name]Zach[/name]. So many happy thoughts I feel when thinking of [name]Noah[/name], and when I met her father. [name]June[/name] fits right in there. So…I know it’s silly but we named her from there. We aren’t stuck on origins of names, however digging into our heritiges we thought we could maybe find something from there that would inspire us with names.

Junebug is gathering what we’re saying to her. Like if we (in whatever language) tell her to, “Go find your shoes?” or “Would you like to brush your hair?” or anything else, she’ll understand, nod, return short sentences or comply. The fact that we also use a few signs with her really helps her to understand that. If mommy says “milk” and daddy says “milk” that they’re the same thing because they’re the same sign. We aren’t fluent in sign but we have a baby sign book and use the basics from there.

I love [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Carter[/name], [name]London[/name], [name]Hadley[/name]…oh my!! Thanks so much!

I don’t find your families names odd. French people don’t have to have French names, nor do [name]German[/name] people have to have [name]German[/name] names. I love [name]Maria[/name] Montessori by the way. Junebug ([name]Noah[/name]) is amazing!

I suggest that you continue to pick names that mean things to you rather than finding a name that comes from a specific Origin. I like the effect of the remembering something amazing every time you think of their names.

Good luck with your upcoming family of five! Along with MANY happy memories!

Thank you so much! I appreciate it. I will keep this in mind. Maybe I could blend the Origin with something from memories.

Here are some names that’ll hopefully inspire you

Hmm… I’m going to be bold and call fake on this one. The over-sharing, expecting of multiples, and “perfect” child set off the warning bell. Also, I checked - there is no [name]Zachary[/name] and [name]Emma[/name] [name]Klaus[/name] in the United States.

I can confirm [name]Blade[/name] and I are in agreement with you.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard about any [name]German[/name] named [name]Zachary[/name]. I’m not even sure how that name would be pronounced with a [name]German[/name] accent. Also [name]Klaus[/name] is more common as a first name than as a last name, obviously that doesn’t exclude the possibility that there are someone with that last name, but still, it sounds odd. I agree with PPs, it sounds fake.
