[name]Hi[/name], Mommy Clendon!
[name]Timothy[/name] [name]John[/name] is certainly one you don’t hear everyday now! [name]How[/name] great! Is he [name]Tim[/name] or [name]Timmy[/name], or [name]Timothy[/name] all the way? Or perhaps T.J.? Anyway, good choice.
As for [name]Peter[/name] and [name]Richard[/name], are you planning to use nicknames? I honestly love [name]Peter[/name]. It’s simple and classic yet not terribly overused, pretty much like [name]Timothy[/name]! I’ll be honest with you and say [name]Richard[/name] isn’t my favorite, even though you’re already decided on your set, it seems. [name]Richard[/name], to me, is just a little bit heavy and tired, and it feels rather old and dull - even Nameberry describes it as “far from stylish.” That’s just my opinion, though, and if you and your family love it, by all means ignore me! I guess I’d pair [name]Peter[/name] with something like [name]Daniel[/name], [name]David[/name], [name]Eliot[/name], [name]Francis[/name], or [name]Joseph[/name]. In fact, I love [name]Timothy[/name] with [name]Francis[/name] and [name]Peter[/name] - [name]Frankie[/name] and [name]Pete[/name] are so great for boys!
As for middle names, I’d probably go with a one- or three-syllable middle name along the lines of [name]Anthony[/name], [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Christopher[/name], [name]Mark[/name], or [name]Nicholas[/name]. I particularly like [name]Peter[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] and [name]Peter[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Francis[/name] [name]Mark[/name] or [name]Francis[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name], [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Christopher[/name] or [name]Daniel[/name] [name]Mark[/name], [name]David[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] or [name]David[/name] [name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Eliot[/name] [name]Mark[/name] or [name]Eliot[/name] [name]Christopher[/name], [name]Joseph[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] or [name]Joseph[/name] [name]Nicholas[/name], or - if you’re set! - [name]Richard[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] or [name]Richard[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name].
From your girls’ list, [name]Laura[/name] and [name]Abigail[/name] are my favorites. They’re great! [name]Laura[/name], in particular, is right in line with [name]Timothy[/name]'s classic styling, yet it, also like [name]Timothy[/name], isn’t one of the overtly popular classics. I’d also use [name]Caroline[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Grace[/name], [name]Jane[/name], [name]Margaret[/name], [name]Mary[/name], or [name]Rachel[/name]. With your long middle name choices, [name]Victoria[/name] and [name]Elizabeth[/name], I would vouch for shorter first names. Also, to maximize flow, I’d probably argue against a name ending in -a - it will be redundant with [name]Victoria[/name] and the flow will be minimized with [name]Elizabeth[/name].
Thus, I think [name]Abigail[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] works if you want something quite long, as would [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Caroline[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], or [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]. For something shorter, I think [name]Grace[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Grace[/name] [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Jane[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Margaret[/name] [name]Victoria[/name], [name]Mary[/name] [name]Victoria[/name], or [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] or [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] would be great! [name]Even[/name] though both have the same A sound, I think [name]Rachel[/name] and [name]Grace[/name] are very sweet for twins! [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] and [name]Grace[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name], specifically…
What are you going to do if you have a boy and a girl, or is that not a possibility for you? I think [name]Peter[/name] and [name]Rachel[/name] - [name]Peter[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] and [name]Rachel[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] - or [name]Peter[/name] and [name]Grace[/name] - [name]Peter[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] and [name]Grace[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name] - would be ideal.
