I’m not really sure how to start this, but an introduction would be good, so hi - I’m [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]! I originally joined nameberry to make a list of my favourite names, as I’ve been stalking the lists for months now, and I think it’s about time I became a official berry. However, I then discovered the amazing little forum and I knew I had to post.
I’m currently blessed to be pregnant with twin girlies, which are set to arrive in [name_u]January[/name_u], and I’d love some help with names. My husband is completely hopeless, and doesn’t really mind with names, as long as it’s not too outrageous, so I’m in need of advice and opinions and I’m pretty certain I’m in the right place!
We already have one son, [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u], although he sometimes goes as [name_m]Harry[/name_m], so names with nicknames are fine. I’m not really looking for the names to match as such, it’s whatever I fall in love with. I’m wanting to stay away from what I’d class as bland names. I think [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], while nice is a bit bland, and I’d like more exciting names for my children. Our last name is [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] if this is any help.
Some names that I like at the minute are;
[name_f]Cora[/name_f], [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], [name_f]Arabella[/name_f], [name_f]Jemima[/name_f], [name_f]Lilith[/name_f], [name_f]Pippa[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], [name_f]Luna[/name_f], [name_f]Serena[/name_f], [name_f]Agatha[/name_f], [name_f]Isadora[/name_f], [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_u]Seren[/name_u], [name_f]Laurel[/name_f], [name_u]Rue[/name_u] and [name_f]Clover[/name_f].
Sorry for the crazily long list - this is why I need help! Opinions on the names would be lovely, along with first/middle name and twin combinations. I’m up for suggestions too! I’m sure you established berries can think of millions of lovely names:)
Oops, I may have posted this in the wrong thread group, as I have just seen the ‘sibset’ one. I’m sure it’s okay though? They are girls’ names after all:)
From your list I like really Wren, Luna, Serena, Isadora, Lilith and Elena.
For combos I like Isadora Wren & Elena Rue and Elodie Wren & Sienna Lilith.

Thankyou so much:) I really like your suggestion of [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Lilith[/name_f], I think it’s adorable.
From your suggestions, I like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_u]Rowen[/name_u] and [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] but I really like [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] as [name_f]Sofie[/name_f] instead, as I think it looks prettier - I think that’s definitely one to add to the list! I like [name_u]Rowen[/name_u] but it makes me think of a boys name, do you have a more feminine version of it?
Again, thankyou so much:)

I absolutely love [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], it’s beautiful. Like [name_f]Cora[/name_f], [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_u]Rue[/name_u] and [name_f]Luna[/name_f] too:)
oboeplayer1 - no thankyou, it’s fine here:)
Thankyou all so much for the suggestions! I’m loving [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] and [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] so far:)
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is the most feminine version I can think of, it’s the spelling a girl I know has. I see [name_u]Roan[/name_u], [name_u]Rohan[/name_u], [name_u]Rowen[/name_u] as more masculine.
Sorry if this had already been mentioned, but if you like [name_u]Rowen[/name_u] but want a more feminine version, the spelling [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is more feminine. I also have a friend named [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] nn [name_u]Rowen[/name_u].
I love [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]/[name_f]Sofie[/name_f]! What about [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], [name_u]Sasha[/name_u], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Nina[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Isla[/name_f], or [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]? Here are my opinions on your list:
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] - love this! Such a classic and beautiful name!
[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] - Eh. Could be cute with the nickname [name_f]Nia[/name_f], but not really my style, to frilly.
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] - I love the nn [name_u]June[/name_u], but [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is too nature spirited for me.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] - same as with [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] - Too trendy for me
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f] - Also to frilly, I picture a ballerina/princess, but the nns [name_f]Belle[/name_f], [name_f]Bella[/name_f], [name_f]Ella[/name_f], and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] are so cute!
[name_f]Jemima[/name_f] - My immediate association is Aunt [name_f]Jemima[/name_f]'s Pancakes
[name_f]Lilith[/name_f] - so cute! I love the nickname [name_f]Lili[/name_f]!
[name_f]Pippa[/name_f] - Cute! It is too much of a nn for me though, maybe with a full name like [name_f]Philippa[/name_f]?
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] - [name_f]Love[/name_f]! It is on my guilty pleasure list, I would never be brave enough to use it because of the bird and all, but I love this name!
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] - Nice, love the nn [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], but not my favorite [name_f]El[/name_f]- name. I prefer [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - I love!
[name_f]Serena[/name_f] - Eh.
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] - Prefer [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], and the nn [name_f]Aggie[/name_f] is not to my taste.
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], because I don’t like the nn [name_f]Dora[/name_f].
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] - Really cute! [name_f]Do[/name_f] you pronounce it Lie - luh or [name_f]Lil[/name_f] - uh?
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] - [name_f]Love[/name_f] this much more than [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]. I also love [name_f]Eloise[/name_f].
[name_u]Seren[/name_u] - eh.
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] - Same as with [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_f]Willow[/name_f].
[name_u]Rue[/name_u] - So cute! I would use it as a nn with a full name like [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] (which could also be your solution to the [name_u]Rowen[/name_u] boys association issue). Also, there is a strong Hunger Games association.
[name_f]Clover[/name_f] - Same nature issue for me.
Overall, I love [name_f]Cora[/name_f], [name_f]Lilith[/name_f], [name_f]Pippa[/name_f], [name_u]Wren[/name_u], [name_f]Lila[/name_f], [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], and [name_u]Rue[/name_u]. Here are some combos:
Firstly congrats! Secondly love your son’s name - [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] - it’s a great choice. Very handsome. I think you should stick with this classic style.
My favourites are…
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] - a lovely choice it’s sweet, poetic, and elegant. [name_f]Cora[/name_f] has a great style and is defiantly a hipster darling. She sounds great with [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] & [name_f]Cora[/name_f] make a great sibling combination.
[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] - I’m really not into this choice, for me it’s generally not very attractive it just doesn’t appeal.
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] - I’m sorry about negativity going on here, it’s just not my style, all I can think when I see this name is Jew-nipper. I’d rather prefer [name_f]Juna[/name_f] or [name_f]Juno[/name_f] to be honest.
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] - A gorgeous name, effortless and very hippy. [name_f]Willow[/name_f] has a great style and feels elegant. I also love the nature inspired freshness of this choice. I’d prefer [name_f]Willow[/name_f] as middle name just because [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is so classic paired with [name_f]Willow[/name_f] it feels slightly random. I think I’d prefer [name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] & [name_m]Henry[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] it’d be great.
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] - Another lovely choice, it’s very sweet and has a lovely sound. I also like the close connection to [name_f]Siena[/name_f] (the Tuscany city) it’s just really effortless. I like how [name_m]Henry[/name_m] works with [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] it feels really southern in away, a style I like it.
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f] - A beautiful classic name. She sounds so Italian and effortless. I adore how pretty she looks, how she simply flows so well, and feels lovely. I adore the [name_f]Bella[/name_f] nickname for [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]. She’s just a cool twist on [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]! [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] works brilliantly well with [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] & [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] have a brilliant sound together.
[name_f]Jemima[/name_f] - Another great classic. [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] has this lovely elegant vibe, feels so upper-crust [name_u]Brit[/name_u], and spunky. She conjures up images of [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] Puddle duck, [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] [name_m]Potter[/name_m], and the beautiful rural landscapes. I love the potential nickname of [name_u]Jem[/name_u] which is just cute. As well as [name_f]Mimi[/name_f]. But the fact that there is an American racial slur attached to this name which is just so sad. If I was American I wouldn’t use this.
[name_f]Lilith[/name_f] - This name as an intriguing pretty vibe but at the same time has negative connotations through Jewish mythology. Due to this she isn’t my favourite ‘[name_f]Lily[/name_f]’ name. The mythological connotations aren’t appeasing especially as somebody who by default is Jewish ; )
[name_f]Pippa[/name_f] - She’s cute and sparky. [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] is a sweet choice and works effortlessly well with [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] & [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] sound brilliant together very cute and spunky. It’s a sweet pairing. So natural and elegant. Very British.
[name_u]Wren[/name_u] - A lovely nature name, with a great sound and chirpy atmosphere surrounding her. I dislike [name_m]Henry[/name_m] & [name_u]Wren[/name_u] as pairing though, I’d prefer [name_u]Wren[/name_u] as a middle name to be honest. A combination like [name_f]Pippa[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] so cute.
[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] - A lovely Cornish choice which feels really natural and elegant. It’s a lovely name very natural and looks so elegant. I also love the [name_f]Elle[/name_f] nickname for [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] it’s very sweet. A lovely choice with [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. Sounds so rural, it’s a great sound.
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] - A lovely Spanish name which the gorgeous meaning ‘moon’ it’s a lovely darling choice. [name_f]Luna[/name_f] feels very effortless and conjures up images of the moon, the night sky, stars etc. It’s a lovely name. [name_m]Henry[/name_m] & [name_f]Luna[/name_f] is a darling combination very sweet.
[name_f]Serena[/name_f] - Another lovely name. [name_f]Serena[/name_f] has a very sweet sound and looks very cute. I like the spunk of [name_f]Serena[/name_f] and the how the name feels very pretty and has a lovely melodic sound.
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f] - Hmm unsure…
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f] - Another great choice. [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] has a very wholesome sound and looks very pretty. I love the [name_f]Adora[/name_f] nickname as well which just feels so zippy and cool. I also love the potential [name_u]Izzy[/name_u] nickname. She’s a great twist on the common [name_f]Isabella[/name_f]. [name_f]Isadora[/name_f] with [name_m]Henry[/name_m] sounds good.
[name_f]Lila[/name_f] - It’s a vibrant pretty choice. [name_f]Lila[/name_f] looks lovely and feels very wholesome. A lovely choice.
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] - Nah not a fan of [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] it’s a little strange in sound.
[name_f]Elena[/name_f] - A lovely name with a really sweet, elegant sound. [name_f]Elena[/name_f] has a really brilliant vibe and feels very wholesome. She’s a strong candidate. I like how [name_m]Henry[/name_m] sounds with [name_f]Elena[/name_f] as well. It’s an appealing choice. I like the [name_f]Elle[/name_f]/[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] nickname.
[name_f]Laurel[/name_f] - [name_f]Laura[/name_f] is my mother’s name thus I tend to like a lot of ‘[name_f]Laura[/name_f]’ choices including [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] which sounds very elegant and has a very regal presence. [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] is a nice choice and I also like the [name_f]Lori[/name_f] nickname.
[name_u]Rue[/name_u] - I prefer as a nickname.
[name_f]Clover[/name_f] - Another lovely name very sweet and has a cute natural sound. I like how [name_m]Henry[/name_m] sounds with [name_f]Clover[/name_f]. [name_f]Clover[/name_f] & [name_m]Henry[/name_m] is a great combination.
I notice that you favor many names with a certain vintage charm which would match well with [name_m]Henry[/name_m]. These are the ones I think would make the best combos since they all share a similar feeling. I like [name_f]Lila[/name_f] it’s pretty but of all your names the one that has become the most popular, verging on overuse.
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]
[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f]
[name_f]Arabella[/name_f]
[name_f]Jemima[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilith[/name_f]
[name_f]Serena[/name_f]
[name_f]Agatha[/name_f]
[name_f]Isadora[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]-I prefer [name_f]Melodie[/name_f] or [name_f]Melody[/name_f] but this is unique
