[name_m]Hi[/name_m] Mommys,
Recently found out genders of our twins, a boy and a girl and we are thrilled! We pretty much have the boys name picked out
[name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Silas[/name_m] or [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_m]Ryder[/name_m] ( really leaning towards [name_u]Noah[/name_u] though, which do you like better)
However, the girls name is still up in the air, which do you like better:
[name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Marisol[/name_f]
[name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]McKenna[/name_f]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f]
Please help this confused mom to be, also, I managed to convince my husband on the name sailor finally but he likes it spelled [name_u]Saylor[/name_u]. What are your thoughts?
Let’s vote: boys name
Girls name
Spelling of sailor
I love [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Silas[/name_m] as your boys name option!
For your girls name, I think [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] may just come out on top. [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] to me sounds almost theme-y ([name_u]Noah[/name_u] and his ark…) but it wouldn’t put me off using them together. I really love both [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] and [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Marisol[/name_f]
I prefer the spelling [name_u]Sailor[/name_u], [name_u]Saylor[/name_u] (imo) looks like a made up “trendy” spelling, however this is just my opinion.
[name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Marisol[/name_f] for me.
If you lean toward [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] (I prefer this spelling) [name_f]Marisol[/name_f] then [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_m]Ryder[/name_m] is a better twin name.
I like [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f]. [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] is the spelling I prefer.
I prefer [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Silas[/name_m] over [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_m]Ryder[/name_m], though I do love the middle name [name_m]Ryder[/name_m]. I think if you do chose [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] pairs best. On the flip side, I prefer [name_u]Logan[/name_u] with [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] rather than [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]. The spelling [name_u]Saylor[/name_u] just makes me think of [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] - I personally would go with [name_u]Sailor[/name_u]. [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Marisol[/name_f] is beautiful!
I prefer the first names [name_u]Logan[/name_u] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]. If you did choose [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] I would pair it with [name_u]Logan[/name_u] and not [name_u]Noah[/name_u] for the same reason trigzy stated.
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Marisol[/name_f] is my preferred pairing but out of yours I would choose [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f]. I like both your boy names so your decision on a girl name really rests on what I would choose for a boy.
Definitely [name_u]Logan[/name_u] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]! [name_u]Logan[/name_u] is more uncommon and more interesting to me, while [name_u]Noah[/name_u] is very popular these days.
I just personally do not like the name [name_u]Sailor[/name_u]/[name_u]Saylor[/name_u] as much, especially because you’re having boy/girl twins. If you said “[name_u]Logan[/name_u] and [name_u]Sailor[/name_u]!” out loud, other people might not know which is which since both are technically unisex names. It could end up being more confusing than necessary when you constantly have to say which one is the girl. [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] sounds much better with [name_u]Logan[/name_u] or [name_u]Noah[/name_u] in my opinion.
Also, [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] is a bit too related theme-wise, since the Biblical [name_u]Noah[/name_u] was technically a sailor on the ark. By comparison, [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] is much more beautiful and sounds more sophisticated to me.
Congratulations O.P - hope you have a healthy pregnancy.
My thought are very similar to PP’s quoted, although I tend to agree somewhat with @elifsu that [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] -middle name
[name_f]Marisol[/name_f] is also an option I’d consider. Best wishes.
[name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Marisol[/name_f] are my favorites. [name_u]Saylor[/name_u] is listed on behindthename as a surname/occupation name. So it’s a legit spelling, but I much prefer [name_u]Sailor[/name_u]. I agree with everyone who says they wouldn’t use it with [name_u]Noah[/name_u].
My vote is for [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f]. I prefer [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] over [name_u]Saylor[/name_u], [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] keeps to the true meaning of the name, changing it to a y gives it more of trendy vibe, like [name_u]Saylor[/name_u] [name_u]Taylor[/name_u] rhyme vibe.
[name_u]Logan[/name_u] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] are my favourite pair. Definitely [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] spelling if you go with that. And I agree don’t put [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] and [name_u]Noah[/name_u] together.
[name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] :). Gorgeous together!
TBH I’m not fond of [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] particularly on a little girl however that being said, I do prefer the spelling [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] over [name_u]Saylor[/name_u].
I love [name_u]Noah[/name_u]! And I know its not an option but with [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Silas[/name_m], I like [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Marisol[/name_f]. [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] is so cute!
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] is pretty. It’s perfect for your daughter. [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] is such a gorgeous and unexpected middle name.
[name_u]Sailor[/name_u]/[name_u]Saylor[/name_u] won’t age well at all and sounds masculine to me. Same goes for [name_f]McKenna[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Marisol[/name_f] for a middle name. Maybe [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Marisol[/name_f]?
As for your son, I prefer [name_u]Noah[/name_u] over [name_u]Logan[/name_u]. Not a fan of [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_m]Ryder[/name_m]. It’s too trendy. Like [name_u]Sailor[/name_u]/[name_u]Saylor[/name_u], [name_u]Logan[/name_u] and [name_m]Ryder[/name_m] don’t sound good for when your kids are adults.
[name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Silas[/name_m] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Alessandra[/name_f] is a great sibset.
