Well, when I first posted on here, I’d just found out I was pregnant. We had our boy name-- Beau-- picked before we even got a positive test, but the girl name was giving us issues. With help from everyone, we came up with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], and I am in love with it still. Then… our first ultrasound showed two babies.
Let’s just say, I am praying it is one of each so we can name them [name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and call it a day, but with my luck, I’m going to get two girls lol (kidding, love my girls). In that case, we like:
I love [name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] together, they fit perfectly. And of your girl pairings - I love love love [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! Those fit with [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] too, IMO.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] we have any ideas if it’s two boys??
[name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_m]Grant[/name_m]?
I am a sucker for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! Such a lovely, vintage name. It goes wonderfully with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]. Also I really love how all 3 sisters would have names ending with e but they don’t rhyme. It looks really cool and im a name nerd
[name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] are lovely!
With [name_u]Beau[/name_u], I’d suggest:
[name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]
[name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_m]Evander[/name_m]
[name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_u]Leon[/name_u]
[name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_m]Casper[/name_m]
[name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_u]Auden[/name_u]
[name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_m]Louis[/name_m]
[name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_u]Julien[/name_u]
[name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_m]Sylvan[/name_m]
And a few with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]:
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Colette[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Noemie[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Amity[/name_f]
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_u]Celeste[/name_u]
I think [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] have something cool and fresh about them together and they tie in best with [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] as a trio. I also like that they all have starting letter and ending sound - and they’re balanced as a set - eg it’s not [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (ie another elle sound when already have it in Noelle).
I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] though - it’s a stunning name - but I think with [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] it’s a little matchy with J/G/Jo/Gen & both three syllables & tailored similarity. This pair doesn’t tie in [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] as much to me (though they’re all French). I would mix it up with another name, eg [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] & Celeste; [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] & Harriet; [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] & Adelaide; [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] & Frances; [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] & Beatrice; [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] & [name_f]Tabitha[/name_f] (just as examples).
For the boys, I would consider [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] (over Hudson) with [name_u]Beau[/name_u], or another accessible [name_u]French[/name_u] boys’ name (eg [name_u]Jules[/name_u], [name_u]Remy[/name_u], [name_u]Curtis[/name_u] - just to keep the [name_u]French[/name_u] feel going. I also like [name_m]Gavin[/name_m] with [name_u]Beau[/name_u] (and Noelle).
If boy and girl, just in case, not sure if I’d go [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_u]Beau[/name_u] - just to avoid Jo-Bo / [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] & Bosephine jokes. Agree with you sense that [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] better with [name_u]Beau[/name_u].
Oh my gosh! Congratulations to you, and best luck and love too!
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_u]Beau[/name_u], and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] are excellent together. They are a wonderfully matched.
For two girls, I adore [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. (However, [name_u]Beau[/name_u] and [name_u]Jo[/name_u] for twins does give me pause. [name_u]Jo[/name_u] is just so natural for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! Perhaps avoidable anyway?)
I also think [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] would be completely perfect. Three sisters named [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], and [name_f]Margot[/name_f]? Three sisters named [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]? Oh, swoon at it all!
More girl ideas with [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] I have are:
[name_f]Juliette[/name_f]
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_u]Florence[/name_u]
[name_f]Madeleine[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
[name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_u]Rose[/name_u]
[name_u]Louise[/name_u]
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
Funny that you mention Josephine/Bosephine because when I (very briefly) mentioned [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_u]Beau[/name_u] together, my partner said he was gonna call our son Bosephine if we did that😅
