So I’ve just posted in the boy thread and thought I’d also pop over here for some inspiration for our twins. Big brother is [name_m]Otto[/name_m]. We found out recently were having a boy and girl and my husband and I are stuck for names.
I am not into matchy names for twins or sibling groups is general- i.e all sharing same first letter, ending in same letter etc.
Only potential boy name is [name_m]Linus[/name_m] at the moment.
For girls we have absolutely no ideas. For some reason all the girl names I love have double t’s ([name_f]Hattie[/name_f], [name_f]Etta[/name_f], [name_f]Betty[/name_f]) which is far too matchy for me :(.
Other names we like but can’t use- [name_f]Greer[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Birdie[/name_f].
Can you lovely people think of anything that might fit? Sorry for the rambling!
I don’t think [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] and [name_f]Betty[/name_f] are too matchy with [name_m]Otto[/name_m], as long as the third sibling doesn’t have a double T.
Thank you kindly for all of these fabulous names! So many I didn’t even think of. Let’s hope I can get my husband on board! The double t still worries me a bit but I’m finding it hard to let go of my favourite girl names.
Thank you!
Would it help using longer names that shorten to your faves like: [name_f]Henrietta[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] etc? Anyway good luck! I don’t think think it’s [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] or [name_f]Betty[/name_f] is a problem. [name_f]Etta[/name_f] might be too close to [name_m]Otto[/name_m] as starts with a vowel…
