Twist on Classic Names

welcome! it is!
in my country, the spanish version of [name_m]Lysander[/name_m], [name_m]Lisandro[/name_m], is more common but still super underused! definitely deserves more recognition
your boyfriend’s brother has a lovely name! but i guess it won’t work for you : (

[name_m]Lisandro[/name_m] is lovely too
and could be a nod to my bfs spanish family

thanks he does, but it definitely won’t work for us, i think even just [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] is too close

[name_f]Mary[/name_f] = [name_u]Mars[/name_u]

Also random: [name_f]My[/name_f] aunt tried to argue with me that QμγΝη3 (her friend’s daughter is named that) is a good spelling of [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] for a girl because if [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is a “boy” name, then what is the girl version? She would not accept that [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] is gender-neutral lol.

I like [name_u]Mars[/name_u]!

That’s a shame to be so close minded though, not every name or thing needs a “girl” and a “boy” version
Both spellings are lovely though

I’ve not heard [name_m]Sevastian[/name_m], but I quite like it! I also love Lexander.

Some names that feel like this same category to me:
Leodore
Roswin
[name_m]Kynaston[/name_m]
[name_m]Leonidas[/name_m]
Perseander
Kinston / Quinston
