fox, has been our middle name all along and now i worry about having two “animal” names in a row - robin fox. thoughts?

I don’t like it, I would either change the first name or the middle name. [name]Robin[/name] [name]Fox[/name] sounds very cartoony. I also think [name]Robin[/name] is more feminine, but I’m biased since it’s my aunt’s name…
I like [name]Robin[/name] on a boy and I like [name]Fox[/name] in the middle, but I don’t think that “[name]Robin[/name] [name]Fox[/name]” works as a combination. I think that you’re concerns about having two animal names in a row are definitely substantiated. It also reminds me of the cartoon [name]Robin[/name] Hood movie that Disney where all of the characters are animals and [name]Robin[/name] Hood is a fox.
that is a really good point! dash is another one we considered for a middle, seems to flow a little better…
I don’t mind [name]Robin[/name] [name]Fox[/name] and I don’t think non-Berries would even care. Since [name]Robin[/name] is so established as a name it doesn’t scream animal the way [name]Wolf[/name] [name]Fox[/name] or [name]Sparrow[/name] [name]Fox[/name] would.
You could go with [name]Robert[/name] nn [name]Robin[/name] but I love [name]Robin[/name] (it’s not too feminine) and I like [name]Robin[/name] [name]Fox[/name]
I don’t love it, because of the dual animal names. I do like [name]Dash[/name] for the middle name…[name]Robin[/name] [name]Dash[/name] sounds very sophisticated and differnt, but not trendy.
I don’t like the combo because even though [name]Robin[/name]'s an established name it’s still the name of a bird everyone has heard of. Also [name]Robin[/name] and [name]Fox[/name] are such opposite animals it seems almost akin to naming your kid [name]Summer[/name] [name]Winter[/name] (well, maybe not THAT ridiculous but you get my point).
I like [name]Robin[/name] [name]Dash[/name] (or [name]Dashiell[/name]!) a lot more than [name]Robin[/name] [name]Fox[/name].
I don’t think it’s bad because it’s two animals. The thing that could be a problem is that Disney’s [name]Robin[/name] Hood is a fox.
There’s a writer named [name]Robin[/name] [name]Lane[/name] [name]Fox[/name] whose books I own.
He’s British as hell though.
I have been trying to figure out how I can use [name]Fox[/name] as a first name, its not the easiest name in the world to pair off. [name]Robin[/name] [name]Dash[/name] is a pleasant combo though.
[name]Dash[/name] in the middle is too kardashian for me. I also see [name]Robin[/name] as a dated girls name. And think that 2 animal names together is a no go. What about Foxbas the first name?
I wouldn’t do [name]Robin[/name] [name]Fox[/name]. I love [name]Robin[/name] on a boy and think [name]Fox[/name] is a cool middle name. I like [name]Robin[/name] [name]Dash[/name] or [name]Robert[/name] [name]Fox[/name] instead.
I love [name]Robin[/name] on a boy! [name]Robin[/name] [name]Fox[/name] however, I pictured Disney’s [name]Robin[/name] Hood at once. I think [name]Robin[/name] [name]Dash[/name] is very cute!
I like [name]Robin[/name] as a first name for a boy. I also like [name]Fox[/name] as a middle name. Though maybe not together - for all the reasons mentioned before. I also like [name]Dash[/name] as a first name though not so much as a middle name. The reason is fairly simple. When I hear [name]Robin[/name] [name]Dash[/name] [name]Johnson[/name], I think [name]Robin[/name] - [name]Johnson[/name]. Which bothers me - but if it doesn’t bother you I think [name]Robin[/name] [name]Dash[/name] is cute.
[name]One[/name] other suggestion is that because [name]Robin[/name] is a unisex name and [name]Dash[/name] is fairly neutral in my mind - some cultures require parents to give their name strongly gender indicating names. [name]Robin[/name] [name]Andrew[/name] or [name]Robin[/name] [name]James[/name] could give your child that. [name]Hope[/name] this helps!
I love [name]Robin[/name] on a boy.
However, I am not loving the [name]Robin[/name] [name]Fox[/name] combination. Good first, good middle, but not together.
On the one hand, it seems strange to have two animal names in a row, but on the other hand, most people don’t even know other people’s middle names, so it won’t be used very often. I personally do not like [name]Robin[/name] for a boy–I only know girls with that name.
