Two little girls...no name yet for #2

I really like the suggestion of [name]Amory[/name]! Also, [name]Delaney[/name] is a great pick.

a few more suggestions:
[name]Asa[/name]
[name]Lyle[/name]
[name]Cameo[/name]
[name]Wallis[/name] ( <3 Wally!)
[name]Loyal[/name]
[name]Ansel[/name]
[name]Wiley[/name]
[name]Raleigh[/name]

any of these you like?

I love the name [name]Emery[/name]. I would def spell it with a ‘y’ :).

[name]Just[/name] named our baby girl [name]Emery[/name] - I love it! I don’t think they are too matchy at all/

I think you can get away with [name]Emery[/name] but for other options: [name]Luca[/name], [name]Blythe[/name], and my first reaction was actually [name]Amity[/name], which is interesting as I see a couple others have made this suggestion also.

I do think [name]Ellie[/name] and [name]Emmy[/name] are too matchy…

What about [name]Aubrey[/name] ([name]Bree[/name]), [name]Bellamy[/name] ([name]Amy[/name]), [name]Linden[/name]/[name]Lennox[/name]/[name]Lennon[/name] ([name]Lindy[/name]), [name]Millay[/name] ([name]Millie[/name]), [name]Callas[/name] or [name]Calloway[/name] ([name]Callie[/name]), [name]Micah[/name], [name]Flannery[/name], [name]Byatt[/name], [name]Carson[/name], [name]Dallas[/name]? Everly might give rise to nicknames that would differentiate themselves from Ellie…

i love [name]Emery[/name] but i agree about the whole [name]Emmy[/name]/ [name]Ellie[/name] thing, especially as [name]Elliott[/name] gets older and friends etc start sticking on nicknames, or she herself wants to be [name]Ellie[/name].

I really like the sibsit [name]Elliott[/name] and [name]Piper[/name]! I see so many useful and great suggestions out there i cant think of any more to throw out but just wanted to say that when people give me a huge list of names i can find myself going a bit blank over them and missing some gems! so take your time and see if anything really ‘clicks’ for you. I dont think there is anything wrong with going with [name]Emery[/name] tbh apart from the [name]Emmy[/name] and [name]Ellie[/name] thing

Here are some somewhat unisex three-syllable names that might go with [name]Elliott[/name]:

[name]Alexis[/name]
[name]Cameron[/name]
[name]Cassidy[/name]
[name]Delaney[/name]
[name]Madison[/name]
[name]Makenna[/name]/[name]Mckenna[/name]
[name]Michaela[/name] (although this is not quite unisex, I like this because it has a Hebrew origin, like [name]Elliott[/name])
[name]Talia[/name] (ditto what I said about [name]Michaela[/name])
[name]Connelly[/name]
[name]Connolly[/name]
[name]Connery[/name]
[name]Donnelly[/name]
[name]Everly[/name]
[name]Flannery[/name]
[name]Kennedy[/name]
[name]Mallory[/name]
[name]Romilly[/name]
[name]Sidney[/name]/[name]Sydney[/name]
[name]Willoughby[/name]

Hmmm… tricky. What about [name]Tierney[/name]. Its an irish name which is also used as a surname.

[name]Elliot[/name] & [name]Sky[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name] & [name]Reilly[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name] & [name]Indigo[/name] (nn [name]Inka[/name]/Inks/[name]Indi[/name])
[name]Elliot[/name] & [name]Cameron[/name] (nn [name]Cammie[/name])
[name]Elliot[/name] & [name]Connelly[/name] (nn [name]Connie[/name])
[name]Elliot[/name] & [name]Jasper[/name] (I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Jasper[/name] on a girl)
[name]Elliot[/name] & [name]Jameson[/name] (nn [name]Jamie[/name]/[name]Jam[/name])

Oh and I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Rory[/name].

I understand your concern about name meaning, I am the same way. I have recently decided that I will either love the meaning behind a name or I will love the sound and appearance. It is very difficult to find a name that satisfies both wants. Personally, I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Avery[/name] with [name]Elliott[/name]. And it is very similar to your favorite, [name]Emery[/name]. I also think [name]Avery[/name] [name]Dawn[/name] sounds and looks beautiful (love the V and W together). I don’t think you need to worry about meaning because you are honoring a family member with her middle name. [name]Hope[/name] that helps!

I tend to think that using a name you love should take precedence over trying to match. If you’re choosing between two names you like equally well, by all means, go with the one that sounds best and isn’t as likely to box you if you end up having another girl in the future.

[name]Elliott[/name] and [name]Emery[/name] sound nice together and fit due to the fact that both are traditionally male names. I would stick with [name]Emery[/name] over [name]Emerie[/name], as it is the standard spelling. [name]Emery[/name] [name]Dawn[/name] sounds nice and goes well with [name]Elliott[/name] [name]Joy[/name], and it’s great that the middle name honors a loved one. [name]Ellie[/name] and [name]Emmy[/name] is cute, but definitely matchy-matchy.

Other suggestions (which may be repeats of others’ ideas): [name]Harper[/name], [name]Piper[/name], [name]Morgan[/name], [name]Rowan[/name], [name]Murphy[/name], [name]Quinn[/name]/[name]Quincy[/name], [name]Avery[/name].

If you’re concerned about boxing yourself in with two E names, I like the suggestion of [name]Amory[/name]/[name]Amery[/name], which sounds similar to [name]Emery[/name]. I actually know a girl named Amry and think it’s a lovely name. Then, you’re still kind of boxing yourself in with shorter names with single-syllable middles, but there are more options there.

[name]Felicity[/name] is a really nice name, but as you mentioned, if I heard “[name]Elliott[/name] and [name]Felicity[/name]” I’d immediately think, “Boy and Girl.” Also, I tend to prefer to avoid first names that start with the same letter as my last name. Still, I find that many names I wouldn’t use as a first name because they start with the same letter as my last name [name]DO[/name] sound nice in the middle spot, so you might find that you can use it there (if not with this daughter, perhaps with another if you end up having a third girl in the future). You might even consider ____ [name]Felicity[/name] [name]Dawn[/name] F_____, which I think might sound wonderful if you found the right pairing.

I’m with you on [name]Gabrielle[/name]…it clashes with [name]ELLiott[/name], especially [name]Elliott[/name] called [name]Ellie[/name].

I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Emerie[/name] and the spelling makes it have a modern feminine twist, also both names([name]Emerie[/name] and [name]Elliott[/name]) are both trendy. For the middle name, [name]Dawn[/name] is great, or maybe another short name because joy is to the point. Best wishes.

I would go with [name]Felicity[/name].
