Two middle names -- issues with filling out forms?

[name]Hi[/name] all, I was wondering if anyone (who has done it recently in the U.S.) had trouble listing two middle names for their baby in paperwork. Are there any limits on how many letters? Any other logistical issues to consider?

Thanks!!

As a person with two middle names ever since I got married, I have found that most forms only allow for one middle initial. Same with my driver’s license. It’s a little annoying to me, but I haven’t yet run into a situation where it was a big deal or anything.

[name]Hi[/name]. All my important docs (social security card, drivers license etc) have all four names but my bank cards and insurance cards only have one middle initial on them. They ran out of space on the title to my house (by only one letter) so [name]Margaret[/name] is written as [name]Margret[/name]. When there is only one space for a middle initial on a form, I just squeeze both of them in the box. But overall, it hasn’t been a big deal. I will still give my kids two middle names.

Thanks so much! This is very helpful. Anyone know how many letters you are limited to on official paperwork for registering the name for a new baby initially? Thanks!
