I’m interested in your opinions on giving a child two middle names.
Being a name nerd I always assumed I’d use two middle names.
Now that I am seriously thinking about naming an actual human in my future, I am concerned about if it will become a burden with respect to the practicalities. Things like forms not having enough space and the person wondering if they should omit the second middle name in paperwork, etc.
Any opinions or experience either positive or negative on this? Thank you!
My daughter hastwo One is from each side of the family. Because they’re both short I think it’s not too clunky
Is this more common in the uk than the us? I’m from nyc and have only seen the double MN in nameberry-land
I have a middle and a double barrelled surname, where the 1st bit of my surname, up until recently I considered a 2nd middle (long story). I haven’t had any problems, as where middle names are required there’s usually enough space, and it’s very rare that that’s the case anyway. I think 2 middles is perfectly okay.
